Thank you so much for what you are doing to preserve our beautiful state. Most people have no problem sharing their land with the public, but unfortunately not everyone appreciates that. Some landowners have propwrty destroyed and farm animals and family pets shot. Unfortunately some landowners are shot as well. That is why they close off their private land to the public. In 1988, a woman named Karen wood, who lived in Herman, Maine was shot and killed by a hunter while she was out in her backyard hanging laundry. She had children and now their mother is dead. That is why private land gets closed off here in Maine.
Sir , my hat is off to you and your wife. I am 5th generation on family property along with my brother. Preservation is key, both he and I have been doing the same here in West Falmouth.
THANK YOU folks.......awesome. Id love to be able to do this
Very awesome! What a legacy

Very impressive. Thank you!

I love hearing stories like this!
Very good.
I tried! Picked the wrong guy!
All at the cost of not paying taxes to the town they are in
They are making money and not paying property taxes?
Preserving land in a nonprofit is a wonderful way to secure a tiny piece of Planet Earth for future generations!
Obviously false, since they’re paying income tax, local sales taxes, and property tax on *1000 acres* still.
