@@AjitSingh-hr9bv Nothing wrong working as chef ! For that you need some diploma and experience. Foreign experience is ok. Short order cook jobs are plenty but they don’t pay good, mostly minimum pay and not enough hours. Some time odd shifts and need ride! Service industry meaning jobs like delivery , security , cleaning etc meaning unskilled and semiskilled job foreign students has to do. The problem is employees not getting enough hours. This is true for long time Canadian residents who are unskilled . Many Canadian Indians get by living with parents and sharing expenses. If they have big mortgagee they are in trouble.

Canada wants labour and that is why government is giving work permit to Punjabis to come and work here as a labour. Punjabis come here study for 1 or 2 year and spend their money and then working as a labours. Office jobs are for People who are born here and speak good English and know the culture. You guys can't speak good English and having problem understanding it too.

This include my reason to drop the idea to study in SAIT
