This is a creature who just had the only person who it ever loved die protecting it. This is a creature who has just been stricken with an unimaginable and irreplaceable loss. This is a creature with nothing left to lose. Yes it was a genocidal monster, but that still doesn't change the fact that I feel bad for it, regardless of its horrific nature.

He died in here, as well as in the Boogiepop Phantom (the older series), but that showed us, how Manticore consciusness was remained (but shattered trought the city) and used Saotome's form to lure peoples to eat them
this show is kinda older the first release was in 2000 Boogiepop phantom this is about mystery supernatural etc. Then will have another mysteries (I`m not English this is why my English is kinda bad :/ )

They're the antagonists for only the 1st volume of the series. They're planning to adapt next few volumes so we'll be seeing a new antagonist from the next volumes.

Boogiepop has very few recurring characters and each story arc is for the most part self contained
No disrespect,but Boogie pop Phantom did horror better. The latest one here should have went back to the old screen style and anime look.
they wanted to modernize it but one important part of boogiepop is that it takes place in the 90's
