Federal judge to hear arguments in Kroger-Albertsons merger case

Kroger and Albertsons - the parent companies of the Mariano's and Jewel grocery store chains, respectively - head to court on Monday to face off with federal regulators over the fate of what would be the largest grocery store merger in American history.

Kroger is probably the the most expensive and dirty stores I’ve ever been in. I travel every week and when I go to Kroger area states, I find a Walmart and go there. Kroger stores are almost on the “disgusting” level. Floors are dirty and the stores tend to have a very bad smell to them. Not every Kroger, but I would say 6 or 7 out of 10 are like that. They are so much higher priced also. Publix is much more reasonable compared to Kroger.

Where had you seen these unclean stores? We used to live out west and they were never in those circumstances
