100% agree, take what you have. I have refined and upgraded gear as stuff wears out, or I find a better option. It also depends on where and when you are camping. After a trip, I like to look at what I brought and see if there is anything I could have left home and not taken. Good job to pack all basics into 50L and doing it without really small high cost backpacking gear.
Never done a camping trip on the bike before and might be considering it for 2023, so handy vid thanks for the tips
Awesome
Good info there. The thought of camping is enough for me but it's such a good way of getting around cheaply.
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Another interesting Video. Thanks! may be worth looking at the Airman Tour Tyre Inflator, cheap, small and can easily be wired to the Bikes Battery. I love mine! Not sure how useful it would be for inflating pads etc, but for tyres, its great!
Awesome thanks, I'll have a look into that
'Significant world event' something of an understatement! Those shonky boots haven't worn well at all - bit worrying they were sold at a bike event!
PS, spotted your merge-in-turn on Ashley Neals channel 👍 the twin mirrors give you away.
Yeah real shame about the boots. Haha I saw that! That clip was from about 8 months ago. I wonder if I'd have done the same thing today
Might do some camping next year! Just mod 2 today and a bike to buy hopefully!
Bit annoying the new Enfields aren't out sooner.
Awesome! Good luck with the mod 2
Thanks for sharing...I have a large estate car that returns better MPG than my bike. I also have dogs....thus yet to camp when riding. Didn't get the name of yourn boot make/model. They don't look dissimilar to my RST Paragon 2 boots which have thin soles but keep my feet dry
Theyre supposedly Richa, but I don't think they're legit. The closest pictures I can find online are the Richa Ladies Sunshine Boots, which have some labels on them that mine don't have. So I don't want to claim that Richa boots aren't very good because I don't believe these are legit :( I'm looking at the RST tractech evo boots next though!
@@ayserides Understood...If you want to get clued up re different protection levels there's plenty of decent info on bennets social pages & YT channel...Hope you get sorted 👍
I have the same sleeping bag. Used it in -7 degrees Celsius, it was not a pleasant experience 😂
Ouch, I bet that was painful 😂
Your content is fine.. You deserve more subscribers. Am I alone from Bangladesh as subscriber?
Thank you!
That looked like a lot of kit. I haven't watched the camping video yet (will watch it next!), but were there any times you found the bike hard to manage with all your gear on it? I have made extensive plans for my first trip, but still need to buy a few things.
In total it weighed maybe 8-10kg? I didnt notice any differences in handling and the fuel economy was actually really good on this journey thanks to a lot of 60mph speed restrictions. The pillion seat of my bike sits really high, so I don't think you'd want to load it up with much more weight, and I definitely don't plan on taking a passenger on it
Couldn't you use the tyre inflator to inflate the other bits? I got a tyre inflator similar to Markus and you can use adapters to inflate other bits plus it also acts as a power bank.
Unfortunately the value is different but I didn't think to look for an adapter and maybe use the tyre pump. Good shout!
Hi I didn’t catch what those straps were . Can u confirm ?
Sure! They're Rok straps :)
