    Do you have a photo/written form of the dimensions of the size of the fabric you cut? it would be really helpful!

      The fabric piece was 140 width.
      I had 10 cm for the belt around the waist, each color
      Then 20 cm for the botom part of the bow in each color (this was cut in 2 so i had 2 pieces 20×70 cm of each color)
      Then the top of the bow was 27 cm at the widest part, going down to 20 cm at the edge to connect to the botom part
      Hope this helps, it is mostly staight lines with the exception of the top part of the bow witch has a curve

    Hello, what material or fabric did you use to make the ribbons and belt?

    How did you manage to keep it in place when you twisted the parts around the pipe? :o

    • @lea_chiin
      @lea_chiin  Рік тому +2

      So first I just twisted it to the desired twist. And pinned it in place at the top and bottom. While twisting, or as I should say: braiding, I made sure not to twist the pieces them self, that way it would not need to unravel itself.
      To say it differently: I had 3 pieces, the curved pipe, the white piece and the purple piece. So when i braided these tree, i always had the seam facing the same way.
      When braiding, you can hold one side down with your legs, or ask a friend to hold one of the ends for you :)
      Hope this helps!

    Great video! Do you think it would work without the pipe? Cause im running out of time and material, so i was wondering if it would work only with fabric😂🥲

    • @lea_chiin
      @lea_chiin  Рік тому +1

      My honest answer.... no.
      Not with that size. The bow will collapse on itself and would move around more easily. You could try, but i dont think that would work.
      If you want it to work, you will need some straps to hold the top part up. Like a shoulder strap. That again can be painful.
      If only you have a shorter pipe and have that where the bow is against your back, that would be better.
      My conclusion is that you will need the pipe for both look and comfort. But you can try to prove me otherwise if you want :)
