Assuming a slightly thicker loop side and some incomplete mating their product should be about 1.6 mm mated, and comes in a white/clear hook option. Is it the same? Here's their page, click Product Description for the specs: m.zhihongfactory.com/sale-9322494d-clear-invisible-soft-ultra-thin-soft-molded-injection-hook-for-baby-diapers.html Also, Lian Deng comes up as a 2 person company in Taiwan (I could be wrong), so they almost certainly don't make this themselves, and likewise, probably didn't buy it from a US company when they have ready access to manufacturing in China like Zhihong.

It was not until the next fall the same student and Dean crossed paths once more. The second time the student forced themselves to stop; and made a very heart felt apology the Dean. The student explained they had not understood WHY the University Deans held off for 6 months to doing the concrete laying. The student admitted that It was indeed the right to wait 6 months. The Dean in-turn acknowledged that they had actually took the time to call the architect in charge of the sidewalks to relay the students concern the same afternoon as their first encounter. The Dean also commented that he too had concerns about letting the sidewalk go; and that architect had explained to him what the student eventually learned. The Desire Paths would emerge, and the framing of the sidewalks would be put into place by those identified paths.

I don't normally comment but I wanted to share. The biggest thing I am thankful for this year is your channel. Sappy I know but it's the truth. Begining of the year I had a great job making more than my current means and even covid seemed to not effect it at first but a week or so before I was approved to buy a house I was let go because lost of work in the cabinet manufacturing in June. This was a bombshell and if it wasn't for support from love ones i might not of been able to recover. I realized quickly that I needed to go to school and chose electrician just to get a quick turn around. In the mean time I found work as a janitor at a major machine shop here in kansas and had a lot of free time. Quickly I stumbled on your channel and can't believe it took this long. I was a big fan of myth busters in highschool before I got shut off from the technology while I was in the service. After a few weeks of watching you I decided to change my path and really go after what I dreamed of and am now about to finish my first semester of mechanical engineering at K-State salina Polytechnic. It is a struggle making ends meet and juggling life but I have found my passion thanks to you. Again Adam thank you for being such a great role model and sharing your life with others in a way to inspire creativity and self construction!
I am so glad you mentioned Ted Lasso. We discovered it around the third episode and it was a joy. It was the feel good hug of a show that we really needed this year and I have been telling everyone to go watch it.
Your quote at around 13:15 of a childrens' book in passing made me very happy. I read that to my son, who's two, and he thinks it's hilarious. Thank you for spreading joy when it's scarce, Adam (and team).

Yeah, Proxxon makes some pretty neat stuff. Owning a bunch of their tools, here's a quick rundown from my personal experience with them: The FSB 240/E rotary tool is much beefier and more robust than the 12V line you use. I've used and abused of mine for years and it still runs smoothly. Very recommended. I know you've rebuilt your modelmaking chopsaw, but do yourself a favor and get the Proxxon KGS 80 chop and mitre saw. That thing is quite possibly the best Proxxon item I own and is fantastic in every way. Wood, plastic, metal - if it fits in its jaws, it'll cut it. The emery wheel will easily go through half inch hardened steel rods, and the sawblade will give you super clean cuts in 1 inch rods of brass and aluminium. It also goes through those like butter. If there's any Proxxon electric tools you want, it's their rotary tools and this KGS 80. The Thermocut 230/E is also pretty good, especially with the upgrades from Shifting Lands. With the upgrades you can make some crazy foam crafts which look like they were CNC cut easily and quickly. The FET miniature table saw is ok, works quite well and is much safer for modelworking scale stuff than a full size table saw while having some power, but I think it's much too expensive for what it is and does. Wouldn't recommend that one unless there's special circumstances. The KS 230 table saw is for very light modelmaking stuff and while it's probably the safest table saw I ever came across, that's pretty much due to it being the most underpowered one I came across as well. Also no recommendation. The DSH scroll saw works well and has some oomph, but it's nothing special. The DB 250 micro lathe is again pretty much just for modelmaking. It's not very powerful, nor is it precise, but it works. The only saving grace is the electronic speed control. I'd still say a used 'normal' lathe will be better.
Yep, my account for my Quest 1 is grandfathered in until 2023 so I've just accepted it's getting resold in 2yrs, which is probably about its lifespan anyway.
A term that you might enjoy more than "desire path" is the "Cow Path". It refers to the little gullies that cows slowly cut into the ground as they make the same journeys across their home pastures year after year. As such when someone designs a park, roadway, computer system, organisation etc. following the way people do things naturally rather than how it was designed it's called "Paving the Cow Path" :D
Love my Sailrite Ultrafeed as well. I’ve thrown everything from awning & outdoor furniture canvas to upholstery leather at mine & it has never skipped a beat. If you sew ( I don’t mean dresses and/or potholders) anything “workshop” related then you need a Sailrite.

I got the Proxxon for based on your tool tip. Many thanks. I have not been disappointed. My Dremel's lowest end made it almost unusable for many applications it would otherwise be perfect for. The Proxxon will go slow enough to use on styrene scale model parts... and the build quality is excellent.

While I will never try to diminish Pedro Pascal's incredible talent or the work he's done on "The Mandalorian," The physicality you're seeing on the show is all but certainly not him. His works is more prevalent in the recording booth (and this has led to, according to rumours, hard feelings between Mr. Pascal and the production). The primary costumed actor is Brendan Wayne, John Wayne's grandson. He definitely has a near-perfect western swagger to him (must be genetics!). The other guy often under the helmet is Lateef Crowder who handles a lot of the action and fighting scenes, being a martial artist and gymnast. Again, this isn't a knock against Pedro Pascal, not even a little bit. I just wanted to add the comment so that credit where due is delivered on the fantastic physical performances on the show.
If we're talking about good shows this year. Queen's Gambit has gotta take the cake. Decided to watch it on a whim when it first released. Cause I saw Anya Taylor-Joy, and remembered her from Split. And I saw chess and thought, "Sounds interesting". Watched it until like 4 am that day and then watched the rest when I woke up. Superb show. It makes me want selective memory removal to be a thing so I can erase all my memories of it and watch it again.

Started watching Ted Lasso as soon as you recommended and finished at 5 am, that was the best emotional ride I’ve had for a long time. There was a filing of unity and warmth and love and I still have them, thank you very much, Adam!
Pedro was also in a film called Prospect that's streaming on Netflix now, which will be right up most of this channel's alley when it comes to grounded Sci-fi.
Adam.. Your genuine passion for creation is my safe place.
I'll never be able to thank you enough for that.
I am so glad you mentioned Ted Lasso. We discovered it around the third episode and it was a joy. It was the feel good hug of a show that we really needed this year and I have been telling everyone to go watch it.
You are one of the most genuine human beings, thank you for almost 2 decades of continued inspiration ♡
The way he talks so excitedly about the subjects, the pauses for the restrained sighs of joy-what a mood. Ya love to see it
"Pedro Pascal! He's from--"
"Game of Thrones, as fan-favorite Prince Oberyn"
"--Kingsman 2, he's one of the cowboys there."
He will always be the Red Viper to me.
YOU MURDERED HER!
Your quote at around 13:15 of a childrens' book in passing made me very happy. I read that to my son, who's two, and he thinks it's hilarious. Thank you for spreading joy when it's scarce, Adam (and team).
In the Mandalorian, a lot of the time it's Brendan Wayne in the suit. John Wayne's grandson!

Omg, I love hearing Adam love the term "desire path". I've long loved the term and the connotation of it, as well (though, as "desire line").
Love the 99PI shoutout! That show has been a mental “deep breath” during the more turbulent points of the last couple years.
you remind me of telling thanksgiving stories with my gramma. She passed in 2020 in jan and this year has been particularly hard to get into the spirit without her. she was 99 born august 9 1920.

I am addicted to this channel now! I seriously can't stop watching/listening. I love every project he does. And I love the way he approaches his work. Such a great channel with seemingly endless content. Keep it up sir!
I must say, I am surprised the workbench didn’t make the list
It was a custom build for Adam. I think they limit the list to stuff that's accessible to us mere mortals.
I was too. I suppose it isn't a retail product, but a shout-out for the bench seems appropriate.
You never dissapoint Adam. I've started watching Ted Lasso after this vid, and it is as amazing as you made it out to be. thanks a lot for theadvice.
I think perhaps Oberyn Martell is more well known than "one of the cowboys on Kingsman Golden Circle."
I choked on my drink when that was the thing he referenced, rather than “that” scene.
I loved that character, I wanted to strangle the writer when he got killed off.

Adam is my Bob Ross of the physical. I can listen to him describe, well, just about anything really. His passion, his enthusiasm and his ability to impart knowledge keep me watching videos on topics I never would've assumed an interest. Nonetheless, interest was found.
What I really want to mention is his recommendation of Bob Lasso. In a cynical world, it was just what I needed. Thanks, Adam.

As others have said, Adam, you are one of my favorite things. You have entertained me, educated me, inspired me, made this lockdown go by. Thank you for being here and sharing yourself with us all.

I didn't know that I needed a sewing machine. But the need for that Sailrite one just became a reality.
Adam, it's alway great to listen to people talking about things passionately. You always do it well. So many great things on this list. I'd certainly put The Mandalorian on mine as well. This new ultra-velcro seems amazing as well. Now Ted Lasso is definitely on my to-watch list; I watched Sports Night on your recommendation and absolutely adored it.
We should all speak about things we love and are thankful for more. It enhances the human and the shared societal experience.
I hope you, the Tested team and everybody else is safe and happy. Cheers!
Just a few of my favorite things: Sculpey Premo, clear drawer organizers, rolling carts from Michaels, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Oh, and resin and mold making. I've been learning a lot this year. Oh, and can't forget my artist notebook and my little black book. This year has been very well organized and great for personal development, though I feel like I say that every year now. :P
OMG I am a miniature wargamer and I saw your tool tip on the Proxon earlier this year. I immediately bought one and it is my favorite thing of 2020. I love it and it is amazing for the applications I need it for. Now that I saw your mod of adding magnets to it I can't wait to do that to mine.
Ted Lasso is amazing and everyone should watch it.
Adam, I want to truly thank you for these videos. In a video where you talk about your favorite things I want to say that this show has been such a great thing for me. As someone who loves building but doesn't have the time for it as a student it's so great to hear and learn from such an amazing person.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. This year has been a real journey and you have made it so much better.
need a badge for when you have those extra parts left over after a build with a specific number of parts. You know you have done it.
Haha! Perfect!
LoL...yeah yep🤦🏾♂️😝
My favorite is when your working on a something like a carburetor or maybe a motor and you have extra screws or parts. If it works without them...

Desire paths are a huge dynamic of tracking wildlife. I was talking of and searching out desire paths from way-back in the 80's. Adam's "some of his favorite things" .. you mean EVERYTHING he has ever seen?!
Yeah, Proxxon makes some pretty neat stuff. Owning a bunch of their tools, here's a quick rundown from my personal experience with them:
The FSB 240/E rotary tool is much beefier and more robust than the 12V line you use.
Too bad you have to sell your soul to Facebook to get this.
A friend had an Rift 1. Facebook bricked it with an 'update'.
Moral lesson : never buy anything from Facebook.
Yes, if it wasn't for FB, I'd be all over it.

Quest 2! ugh looks so good and I want it.
But, forget Facebook and their data collection so I won’t ever buy it
Love my Sailrite Ultrafeed as well. I’ve thrown everything from awning & outdoor furniture canvas to upholstery leather at mine & it has never skipped a beat. If you sew ( I don’t mean dresses and/or potholders) anything “workshop” related then you need a Sailrite.

Good one! Oh, and touching something you really ought to have known was hot because you just finished cutting, grinding, drilling, polishing or welding it.
I got the Proxxon for based on your tool tip. Many thanks. I have not been disappointed. My Dremel's lowest end made it almost unusable for many applications it would otherwise be perfect for. The Proxxon will go slow enough to use on styrene scale model parts... and the build quality is excellent.

My thought immediately after Adam said cap on 2020 was "we should put a cap in 2020 and bury it a very deep hole" never to be brought up again. Lmao
I’m not ready to trust 2021 yet.
Why do people think 2021 will have none of the problems from 2020?
We may be looking back at 2020 from 2021 wishing we could go back, if things keep sliding down hill.
Have been watching Adam since Mythbusters and I just love his enthusiasm about everything, such a positive guy and talented craftsman. It`s a joy to watch your videos. Be safe, be well and keep the vids coming! Happy Thanksgiving!
The filming of Adam in this video made me dizzy with all the motion. Bring back the tripod please..
One manufacturer of super thin velcro is called Soitex. It's a South Korean company. They don't seem to have an English website but they do sell their stuff on ebay. The velcro comes is all kinds of thicknesses, and apparently the thinnest version is meant for diapers, pads, and other disposable items. Hope this helps!
I wonder if Adam would enjoy Half-Life Alyx

My 15 year old used our Oculus 2 to participate in the "Echo VR" tournament a few days ago. They formed the team only a few days before the tourney, but made it to the semi-finals. In these ever changing social conditions constantly shaped and restricted by COVID, it's been an amazing tool to keep him sane. He's made social contacts with people all over the world.
