I remember working at this event and I was only a casual rocket league player, with no interest in the esports side to this game. I had no idea who any of the teams and players who participated were, and I was just standing there watching these insane plays and enjoying one of the best crowd atmospheres I've ever seen. When i saw that goal go in after 0s I felt so hyped and I just wanted to celebrate as mad as the crowd did that day, but my supervisor was next to me so I couldn't do that (not tryna get fired you know). However this final and the crowd there has made me fall in love with RL and its competitive scene a lot and I really cannot wait for the next RLCs Championships!!

I was scrolling through UA-cam and found this video. I had never played this rocket leauge thing, but i clicked anyway. I watched everything i could find from rlcs then 4 days after finding this video i finally got the game for my xbox one. After about a year i got the game on the pc on steam. Thank you for getting me into this game. Keep up the good work man. Edit:finally after a year i got out of platinum.
Imagine if Jstn's shot hit exactly on the line and the match would have been over. Everything in this goal was made possible through the perfect circumstances culminating. Great video.
Perfect for me as I live 20 minutes from The Copper Box lol. We need bigger venues though and I'm glad that the next lan venue has 2000 seats more than The Copper Box.
@@TheMathias95 Right. It annoyed me so much how there were 2 young lads next to me on their phones taking cringy selfies like typical teenagers. Don't think they were American but people like that don't belong in an arena. They weren't chanting at all or cheering. They occasionally applauded as well and just looked bored af. I don't think they turned up to day 3 either. I don't understand people sometimes.

But then, tragedy struck. Drugs n alcohol sent him into a spiral. He was found doing ceiling shots for food on thd side of the road. But that road my friends, was the road to redemption! See the climb back to the top in part 2.

A really high quality video, can gladly say that I was a part of the London crowd that watched live and seeing the last moments of game 7 still gives me crazy chills!! Everything felt slow motion and it really did feel like the ball was in the air for an eternity before jstn hit it. Most memorable e sports event ever!!!
Most if not all esports players do because take into account how loud it would be, especially his goal in London. Earphones for hearing your team and the game sounds for games in which sound is important, headphones to help block out the sound and for the mic to communicate.
Its because on Stage there's put some white noise on the players ears so they cant hear the crowd. To kinda eliminate most of "crowd tips" like screams or gasps on a trap. And ofc that players can concentrate.
I LOVE this kind of super in depth review of plays, and going over the complex decisions from each player that make the play come together. Do more of this kind of content!

Incredible video. This goal is etched in my memory after being lucky enough to see it live in the arena. I was actually rooting for Dignitas (because, you know, EU), but when JSTN went up it was just such an unbelievable moment that you couldn’t help but get caught up in the emotion. I’m a big football fan (soccer for any Americans) and this is the first time an eSport ever made me feel the highs that football does. The crowd was amazing, the commentary gave you goosebumps. Even the actual goal was an all-or-nothing shot, not some flick or passing play where they could recover it if he missed. To top it all off it’s the rookie with all the pressure on his shoulders making it. Insane.

I think it's fair to claim this is the best overall goal in RLCS history in context of the situation, but Squishy's ceiling shot in rlcs season 4 was by far the most mechanically impressive in RLCS history.
Dont underestimate fb pass, nrg keeping it up with all the pressure and getting the exact shot with their positioning and rotation vs a simple ceiling shot when no one knew how to do a ceiling shot. It shows you favour fancy mechanics over absolutely solid base mechanics under serious pressure

Let's say that between the start of 2 games is about 7 minutes, that's without OT and like a 2-1 score. If a series goes all the way to game 9, that would be 63 minute series XD. I remember working at this event and I was only a casual rocket league player, with no interest in the esports side to this game. I had no idea who any of the teams and players who participated were, and I was just standing there watching these insane plays and enjoying one of the best crowd atmospheres I've ever seen. When i saw that goal go in after 0s I felt so hyped and I just wanted to celebrate as mad as the crowd did that day, but my supervisor was next to me so I couldn't do that (not tryna get fired you know). However this final and the crowd there has made me fall in love with RL and its competitive scene a lot and I really cannot wait for the next RLCs Championships!!

I watched everything i could find from rlcs then 4 days after finding this video i finally got the game for my xbox one. After about a year i got the game on the pc on steam. Most if not all esports players do because take into account how loud it would be, especially his goal in London. Earphones for hearing your team and the game sounds for games in which sound is important, headphones to help block out the sound and for the mic to communicate.

Its because on Stage there's put some white noise on the players ears so they cant hear the crowd. To kinda eliminate most of "crowd tips" like screams or gasps on a trap. And ofc that players can concentrate.

Incredible video. This goal is etched in my memory after being lucky enough to see it live in the arena. I was actually rooting for Dignitas (because, you know, EU), but when JSTN went up it was just such an unbelievable moment that you couldn’t help but get caught up in the emotion.
I’m a big football fan (soccer for any Americans) and this is the first time an eSport ever made me feel the highs that football does. The crowd was amazing, the commentary gave you goosebumps. Even the actual goal was an all-or-nothing shot, not some flick or passing play where they could recover it if he missed. To top it all off it’s the rookie with all the pressure on his shoulders making it. Insane.

Dont underestimate fb pass, nrg keeping it up with all the pressure and getting the exact shot with their positioning and rotation vs a simple ceiling shot when no one knew how to do a ceiling shot. It shows you favour fancy mechanics over absolutely solid base mechanics under serious pressure
