Re: Borrelend and Ty-phon, i topped a regional last weekend playing Silverrokket as a 2nd Tracer target instead of Caliber to remove Ty-phon from the opponents extra deck. Highly recommend trying this tech!
Oh I like that idea that could actually be a nice way to play around that
sorry for the stupid question: How do you target it with a link? Is this a combo that succeeds often or only when you have silverrocket in your hand?
@@carlettoilcricchetto Borrelend's effect on your turn revives it from GY by targeting your opponents monster. Then in DP of opponents turn can target the Silverrokket
@@djangosp2 thank you very much
Where’s your deck profile?
It's why I started playing N3sh's Brandedless/Branded Synchro deck. You take some of the best parts of dragons (the bystials, regained), but then you play the albaz cards like quem and cartesia which are tuners like rokket tracer but just far superior cards on their own. Your Seals can also summon stuff like Albaz
I liked that idea in a runic bystial list, sadly won't have enough time until bologna to test quem and co as a tuner package for dragons
is there a decklist where i can find it?
The problem with rokkets are that you don’t want to draw the package. But it is pretty important that you can extend into the package off of any two dragons. Horus doesn’t play any bricks but then you have to hard open everything. An option is to just up the card count entirely that way you can run Horus Bystial rokkets handtraps and everything. I’ve had a lot of success with a 60 card list. But the problem with that is side cards don’t come up as much.
Good analysis of the current situation. One point to add that I think which makes Horus more favorable is that one of the key strength of playing rokkets is the facts that Romulus + absorouter is a guaranteed rokket, however as the meta contains so many veiler/imperm/ash, I feel dragon ravine resolving is almost somewhat rare nowadays.
Yeah that was a point I was afraid of not having a guaranteed always good send with Romulus
But like you said between all the hts and just making seals instead it never came up for me
If seal + i:p is the main board you typically want to go for, is it worth mainig baldrake?
In Theory it should come up so often but in my whole testing it never came up so i cut it
what is your typical combo line into Seals/IP without Rokkets?
Get lubellion on board before 5th summon
Use Romulus to get access into either lubellion if not available before , or levi to handrip
Then use leftover bodies for seal and I:P
Dlink content 🎉🎉🎉
do you have a decklist?
While i don't personally agree with this, i am willing to hear you out i this one.
I like the Rokkets as they are more normal summons which i like because I run into hands where Im forced to normal them to have a dark in GY. I also like them due to enabling different lines with various end boards. Anything from Borrelend pass to Seals, I:P, Borrelend, Savage/Dis Pater and Regained. I always feel like if my opponent has a card im afraid of, I can play around it by using a different end board.
However, i don't like opening Rokkets with certain other cards, like opening them with a Noctovision or Bystial or opening them with no starters. I also hate opening Boot Sector, but i will admit, I've won games and only won those games due to opening the bricks.
I do like the many different decks people are experimenting with like Horus Dragon Link, Sinful Spoils Dragon Link, Horus Resonator (which i hear described as a more Synchro focused Dragon Link), Horus Bystial Resonator, etc. I think they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. I like playing standard DLink due to being able to play non-engine and it's flexibility. Some other variants are good at different things and i think that's really good.
In this case, I personally believe that it's got a bit to do with player preference than any right, wrong or optimal way to play/build the deck as I've seen reports where almost all variants are doing just fine and not really seeming to be strictly better in every way, shape and form than the others. But that's just right now, things could always change in the future.
I have liked rokkets a little more again for the reasons you shared as well
Horus actually might not be that great right now either as it kinda dies to any handtrap and makes lines which loose a little more to nib sadly
Had some last minute changes in my lists because of that as well
Deck list? 😊
Just doing hieratic bystial with Beatrice, dump Kelbek, mill and start combos
All fun and games until your imsety gets ashed! And I dont have 300$ for the horus engine sorry dude 😂
Insane amount of cope here professor. Everyone sucks going second. Hours cards are terrible. Just drop tripple burst and add some veilers man. Better to make some non engine metacalls than to transform into a bad deck.
My sweet child put some respect on my Horus cards
Yes non engine will be more important that's why a list which can actually stay at 40 and play 9 non engine and be competent enough at its win con is imo the better approach
Compare that to dlink which has like 9 non engine in 43 to stay consistent in it's engine and its looking worse imo
@professorsunreis iv never played more than 40. Just trim the fat. You don't need 3 seyferts. Saronir isn't a 3 of. I play 1 for 1 with 3 targets, samsara, rocket synchron, and 1 black metal. Think outside the box. When you get ashed on ur seal summon IP trick for the thousandth time lmk
