How is it possible that we're hardly hearing how GOOD Morocco is??? They have been playing so freaking good all cup have been undefeated in 4 games, topped their group, beat the No. 2 ranked team in the world, and toppled former champs Spain. The Moroccan federation was keeping an eye on these players since they were teenagers in Europe and supported them financially and morally so they pledged their allegiances to the Moroccan team and here we are beating Spain. Their mothers are Moroccans, they have been brought up to believe in Moroccan values and they feel Moroccan so it is kind of bitter to say that. European teams are stealing talent from Africa as well look at Lukaka for example and where he was born so it evens out by the end.

Disagree. Morocco are a great team but Spain should be winning this game with the right approach. They have no plan b. They never try to cross or shoot from outside the box. Their offence is extremely predictable so it's a recipe for disaster when they go up against Morocco, who've been elite defensively. I think the biggest blame for this loss goes to Enrique.

In my opinion, they're playing another, very boring, type of sport. In Brasil we call "bobinho" the game where one person is the bobo (the "dummy") who has to run around a circle of people passing the ball, trying to take the ball back. The player who loses possession becomes the new bobo. Spain plays 11 against 11 bobinho, a new, annoying and very boring modality.

@@mr.riffian9507 bro my mom grew up in Kuwait her first language is Arabic and she conversates with my uncle's wife and my best friends mom and they understand each other, some words the Moroccans say are said with different pronunciation and y'all say slang words that gulf area Arabic wouldn't understand. Spain should have given up on this passing with no purpose when Bayer Munich destroyed Barcelona by 7 goals home/away champions league. Spain lose is not a surprise, the problem with some teams is that they think they are something they aren't, Spain isnt a expressive team in world cups, never was, they only have one big season in 2010...there's only 3 top national teams in terms of football in the world:Brazil, Germany and Italy, these 3 can have a bad season eventually, but they ALWAYS come back strong, the others just arent in the same level as good as they can be..
What about Italy with 4 titles? I know they have missed two WC's in a row now... but Germany has also been unable to make it past the group stages losing to Japan and South Korea in the last two WCs.

Morocco outmuscled Spain and outran them. Pedri and gavi are great players but not very strong. They needed rodri in midfield more than they needed him at centre half. 1019 passes for Spain but only 10 shots and only 1 on target. There are ways to play teams that park the bus. Spain did the opposite. And clearly Spain need to practice penalties more. 1000 doesn't seem to be enough.
The 1 on target was Olmo at the very end of the game. 😂

It looked like there main goal was to get over 1000 passes rather then actually scoring a goal.
Morocco was the underdogs and had already matched the best-ever WC for their country by getting into round-of-16. Spain, on the other hand, needs to practically get to final just to meet their country's expectations. The difference in pressure that each team is under was clear, and I think it was a massive factor in the shootout, with Spain's players under considerably more pressure than Morocco's.
