I'm an intermediate player and it's extremely rare that I come across the King's Gambit and the times that I did, I didn't know how to respond to it but you're video is easy to understand and it really helped me. Thanks Coach! 🤣
Really helpful, my brother told me that he’s prepared a lot in kings gambit with white and is gonna play it to me so I am definitely trying this line with black. Thanks so much
Also I don't know if you mean "discourages the queen from moving to protect the pawn which already has to few defenders," instead of a legal pin which it is not
I have retired and live in TX. Close to my daughter and grand children. Still trying to learn chess, I am getting a little better, trying to not blunder. But have gotten over the nervousness in regards to playing. NOw I am dangerous I think I know stuff, haha I hope you and your new wife are doing well.
@@davidbatchelder85 I am very glad to hear that. I remember you were planning to move to TX. Hope your grandchild is healthy and growing fast! You will be the one that will have to teach him how to play chess. Sounds like you are still a chess terminator, getting better and better
Hi i loved this theory my only question to you my coach is if i m a sicilian defense guy and commit my pawn at every E4 move how can I counter act once F4 is being played after my c6 move .
I only wanted the central pawn to disappear so I can do the opening I want . Latter on I learned that what I play is called "King's gambit". I'm afraid you don't get into consideration WHY a player plays the King's gambit. Not all people play it for the same reason. Some don't even have the intention to play something that is called king's gambit. All you would do with those moves is just help me get EXACTLY the position I want. I don't know if I would lose the game due to miscalculation but one thing is for sure. I would not lose it because of your response to my "King's gambit" or however people like to call it. That would be very shameful for you as my rating is no more than 1600.

An amazing channel 😍
Hoping you should cover English opening in a video very soon🥰
Thank you so much Amal! I will do English video in the future
At 3:22 he cannot take with bishop yes but he can with rook, thus defending knight at the same time
Great video, thanks for the lesson. I subbed
Don’t take this the wrong way but I love you. ❤️
Love is in the air!

How did it go?
I was able to get to move 4 until my opponent did something completely different..
Fabulous implementation and explanation in 5 minutes Kudos
Thank you!
Amazing video man .I am really going to implement this in my game
Sir i want a video on kings gambit
Will do Today's Creator! Thanks for a comment
that voicecrack on "black"
2:14 what would be the response to pawn at c4?
Then we play c6 and hope to develop initiative. Its one of the lines that is played
@@Kestony Thank you so much! Great video!

I’m 1450s and I lost two games in a row to the kings gambit… now I’m here
0:45 what if he moves the knight to threaten the queen instead
Take the d pawn
you cant move your knight, you are in check
excellent lesson
@5:07 why not Qa5+ and take the bishop instead of Bd6
Nc3 defends the check and the bishop
@@santiagogestal3925 😯😯😯😯😯
.-.
I consider Bb5+ to be the main line. I wish you had talked more about it
Nice video! I will definitely try that! 😀❤️Can you please make a video on a aggressive line against the najdorf Sicilian?
My game, they put Nc3 first, protecting the middle, thus not allowing the queen coming across the board. But very useful in some lines

Thanks Edmund for watching. I hope to see you in my other videos!
Most intuitive video on how to tackle king's gambit thank you sir🙏🙏
Thank you Abbishek. I hope to see you in my future videos!
3:21 why can't he take with rook?
What is it called when you play the white moves as black?
Also is this Smith Morra or Blackmar-Diemer?
What do you do if he goes 1. e4 e5 2. f4 d5 3. Nf3
You take the pawn on f4 and you will get a similar line as in this video.

Nice and concise video, thanks
@1:25 white can simply check blacks King with the queen.
what if white plays d5 instead of castle at 5:07??
From this first glance it seems like we can play Nxd5 and if Qxd5 we have a discovered check with Bishop and with the Queen
nice i like your style
Nice job sir. Hope u upload more nice videos
At 5:07 after playing Bd6 and white plays d5 then what? Seems to me like the knight on c6 is lost
D5 Nxd5 Qxd5 Bb4+ and white loses queen?
@@Kestony Ahhhh ok thanks! Missed that
Good explanation. Thx
Te Kestony variation, I like the name. :) Great explanation and I'm going to use it for sure, thanks.

Great video
Sir what if black queen h4 white f4?
slightly better positions as blaaAack
THX LOL just used this in a game

is this stimpy?
5:07, doesn’t white have d5?
No. Then Nxd5 Qxd5 Bb4 and white loses Queen to a discovered attack

excellent
What a nasty trap
Why falkbeer counter gambit
because its good
The question always is - why not A Laskar :-)
Nice
5.c4?
5..c6! 6.d4 (6.dxc6 Nxc6 7.d4 Bb4 8.Nc3 0-0 black is better) 6...cxd5 7.c5 Nc6 =, easy line, but maybe I could have mentioned c6 :)
Qh4 check
