Amazing design for inexpensive floral decor. I love that you compared them side by side and broke down the cost. (On other video too)Very helpful info. The beads were fun too. Thank you!
I used tap water. You can add the items in the vase, and then when you get to your venue, you add water. Or you can prepare it at your venue. The main thing is to make sure you soak the water beads a few hours prior to the event. Thanks for watching my video and for your question 🙂.
I have never worked with resin. I think the accent beads will sink to the bottom of the vase. You might need to let it dry in between adding the beads/accent to achieve the floating appearance. You will also need alot of it depending on the size of the vase. With a little more thought into it I am sure it could be achieved 🙂.
@@LisaNatash 🤗. I did my little cousin’s graduation this weekend and I had teenage nieces helping me ., boy did we over do it with the gel beads . In the end I gave up trying to fix the error before the party started and left it to God 😂😂😂 . But my aunt loved the look of gel beads on the tables 😂. I love your channel and thanks for replying.
Well, regardless of the misshap, it sounds like the party was a success. Glad to hear your aunt liked it. Now you are experienced so now know how to create it for other events. 🙂
Subscribed! OMG! This is gorgeous! Thank you! I'll make this for our winery take for my friend's bachelorette party! Any tips sealing the top so the water doesn't come out during transport from one winery to the next? Or I guess I can dump the water out after the first visit then refill
Great to hear you will create these. Yes, before transporting, scoop some of the water out and wrap the top with saran wrap. You can tape around the saran wrap to further secure the top 🙂. Have fun creating this beautiful decor.
Well, the best thing is that there is less water in it due to the beads. However, if knocked over cleaning the table will be easy but some might fall on the floor and bounce away. They will get crushed if stepped on but there is always the possibility of someone slipping. Just make sure the vase is place away from high traffic and in the center of the table. Also, make sure it's big enough to hold the centerpiece which will prevent it from toppling over. I had small ones on some of my tables with floating candles and they were fine.
How long did it take for the air bubbles to disappear? I will be transporting my vases for a wedding and don’t know if I need hours or days to let them settle.
The reason why I had so many air bubbles is because I used too many water beads. Use less and this won't happen. Do a practice run. Add water beads to a vase then add your water. Read the instruction on the water beads pack. It will tell you how much to use. If you use less beads you can always add more beads to get the desired look. Just remember to take some of the water out. After you do this ... practice run, you will get a better idea how much beads to add and how much water to add. You don't have to transport it to the venue with the water. You can add the water at the venue. Pour the water slowly against the side of the vase when adding it. That will help as well. Let me know of you have any more question and thanks for watching 🙂.
You might have too many in the vase. If they haven't expanded to their maximum size, when you add water, they will, and that will cause some to fall out. Take some out. That should help. Make sure not to add the beads to the top of the vase before you add the water. Leave a few inches from the top of the vase. Thanks for your question and for watching.
Sorry, I don't remember the exact name. They were beside the water beads when I bought them. You can use white roses in there place. That will look beautiful as well.

Do you use distilled water? How did you transport them?

I wonder if this works with resin?.?

Beautiful pieces., speaking from recent experience use less gel beads . They suck up the water and begin to beam over onto the table during the event
Haha, Yes they do. This was my first time and that's what I Iearn from this experience. Less is way better. Thanks for watching and for your comment.

dose the water and gel go hard ? thanks
No, the gel beads are soft when they expand. The water consistency stays the same. Thanks for your questions. You should try it. 🙂
Hola!, es hidrogel que se usa para las plantas cierto??
Hi yes these are also called gel beads or water beads. They can be used for plants.

If someone knocks it over will it make as big of a mess as just spilling water?
