    It's a rhythm and feeling that builds up. You can tell when the 180 is most likely to fall... Yesterday I had my first back to back 180 and the count is on 30 180s this year

    To met hitting 180s is like getting into a zone, you can feel the first dart hitting the triple 20, after my first triple 20, when Im throwing well, its like everything around me is still and the next 2 arrows are just going straight to the dart that is already in, I dont care at that point if I get a bounce on the first arrow, and yes it got me a lot of 100s or 140s but at that point Im not thinking I need to go a bit to the left or right, its just replicating the same arm movement (sometimes my 180s are like completely in the left or right corner while the other corner of the triple is completely open. Its so weird before even releasing sometimes you feel like its going directly into the triple 20 but when I think back after the throw I know im in a certain weird zone. Its hard to explain :P

    Thanks for the video Ronnie. It’s a difficult thing to explain. I’ve tried telling my mates that it’s not about aiming 3 separate darts at the T20, it’s about the rhythm and feel. My biggest issue is transferring practice 180s into match 180s.

    • @RR10000Hours

      Cheers Neil and your absolutely right very difficult to explain unless you know the feeling of adjustment and I find personally shortening backswing slightly and trying to make sure relax your grip in matches helps. Not caring about them also helps lol easier said than done ✅

    Just got into darts (about 2-3 months ago) and can't agree more that those boards are awful. I started off on one and man they wear in SO fast and just cause pain for you. Love the tips and all the content! I have been playing a couple of hours a day AT LEAST since I've gotten my board. Completely fallen in love with the sport, what a game! Keep up the great work!

    can definetly confirm all of your points. A few weeks ago, I played a local tournament and I had a feeling that wasn‘t there before. I just tought about likely nothing. There was just the mindset: „let it come and see how it goes..“. Nothing else. And see: I averaged in some matches and especially in the final 80+ and first-nine 100+ and threw a 180 in the first 3 darts. This day has changed a lot although it is quite difficult to reproduce. Awesome video!

      Yes does happen to me also I have found it usually relates to the type of practice I have been doing in the previous week and days. Try intense practice week with couple days of light practice or total day rest, drink water that day helps also. But does vary a fair bit still mate

      I find it easier to feel where the treble is if I throw high or low etc easy to adjust, I usually switch only when I block or make it difficult to hit the treble.

  • @andreydartsandtt
    @andreydartsandtt 10 місяців тому +1

    Абсолютно согласен. Какое то время нужно просто кидать в мишень не стараясь попасть куда либо, просто сконцентрироваться на том что ты кидаешь плавно, мягко, пальцы не напрягаются не блокируются. Вся проблема в том, что когда мы куда то пытаемся попасть, тогда мы и не попадаем))) Проблема в том что мы пытаемся мозгом что то исправить, а нужно просто дать руке самой все сделать и не влиять на нее через мозг.

      Understand you will always hit them sometimes no matter what level you reach and focus on the good darts not the bad. Practice drills like 2/3 in double 20 bed , or 20 20s in a row this will promote straighter darts no matter what your throw 🙌
