I went through this when my kids were 7, 4, and 11 months. Best advice is "just breathe". Find an activity for you to enjoy. They are grown now and I wouldn't change a thing.

I'm glad you were able to get the proper assistance to guide you through the process and were able to receive counseling. Any transition can be difficult not just for you but for the kiddos. Often they blame themselves thinking that they did something, so counseling will assist them to see that no one is to blame.
