My neighbor is a nurse here in East Tennessee USA. I’m very grateful that I have at least one medical person near me, and I know if something happens, that they would be able to help as much as they can. And my friend is an EMT, and we live near at least 3 fire departments
……would you like to contribute the millions’ $$$$$$ to do so? What a stupid comment. That Hospital was originally built in 1848. It’s been massively added onto since. It’s one of the leading Trauma Hospitals’ in the world, along with The Alfred Hospital, also in Melbourne…………
Funny to see how different the culture is. Telling a patient you're very worried about them would not be considered appropriate here. And telling a patient as you're putting a neck brace on that they could be paralyzed would also not be done here. Very direct. I think I'd prefer it though.
……have you the $$$$$$ to pay for one? This is a Government Hospital, ie patients’ pay nothing to be treated, provided they’ve been issued a Medicare Card, by the Federal Govt in Australia………
The rental people who sent the bycekle with out a helmet should be severelly reprimanded . But I must remark that this trauma unit is a unit to be proud of . For their caring kindness and effectiveness.
We have rental bikes here that you just get off the street. There isn't a person there with the bikes, just a little place where you pay. I've never done it so I don't really know that well, but I have seen them. We have the same with scooters.
I love this show, I have on the pointy end of the care they provide, awesome. Is the title music track composed for just this programme or is it an adapted track from a commercial track.
Interesting. How would they intubate him with a serious neck injury? Wouldn't they still need to tip his head a little??? Any movement would be catastrophic. I guess I will watch very closely to see how they do it.
All the really serious traumas seem to make a miraculous recovery. Doesn’t seem like a real snapshot of a busy ED. I suspect an awful lot they film do in fact die but those stories never make it to air.
Once again, the woman is at home, being the responsible, one, taking care of the house, taking care of the children, while the man has decided he has to race really fast in a boat- a big narcissistic baby. people -we can’t keep letting our men be so selfish. I wonder how all of these men would feel if they were at home taking care of everything while their women went speeding around in boats? I think everybody would think it was unacceptable.
“We can’t keep letting our men be selfish” I’ll bet your mom wore the pants, was a man hater, and constantly told you you were a princess. Marriage shouldn’t be like a prison. What this couple has agreed on is not unheard of. You can’t keep someone you love on a short leash. THAT is what’s selfish.
No shit. This show isn’t new. If u want newer episodes maybe u can contact the network and fund them yourself instead of whinging like a petulant child.
They worry about radiation yet they’re using a phone light to look in the patient’s eye is that not radiation? I don’t put my iPhone to my eye. I think that’s just being lazy. Just use a regular light. Why use a phone to look into someone’s eye
@peacewarrior1175 she knew cause there was no helmet with the bike and she made a error. People make mistakes I know I sure have I just saying maybe she has already learnt her lesson
Why would any medical worker tell his patient that he is worried about his injury? that would scare the hell out of anyone. You need better bed side manners!!!
maybe because he needs to know how important it is to not move his neck. Besides that many people actually would like to know the truth about their condition. Truthfully I don't think Dr's should sugar coat anyone's diagnosis.
The first patient comes from NORTH MACEDONIA lady or else F.Y.R.O.M or Skopje. There is no such country as Macedonia. The only existing Macedonia is in northern Greece and always greek. Learn some real history!
……they’d be going on from information the patient told them. They’ve not the time to study history in a busy A & E department. Very narrow minded of you to denigrate those wonderful medical staff trying to save that bloke’s life………

Fascinating ❤

I wish they'd move Imaging (xray, CT, MRI) right next to the Emergency Department!

Why would the blue boat take the exact same course as the boat in front imploded? Ffs

This is something single people with no children should do. Not fair to the children.

Sometimes if I change the comment filter to ‘newest’ instead of ‘top,’ it shows up.
Did you find it under "Newest"?
0 and 5 woman will never have a injury on a ladder cause they don’t climb them 😂
0 in 5 woman have a memory and remember that they are on a ladder. Therefore they climb down, not fall off.
