M.O.D.O.K. always was an interesting choice for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, but the way Capcom translated him from the comics into the games, they really did a nice job with him, as well as Wally Wingert doing a bang-up job reprising his role as M.O.D.O.K. from _Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes_.

Plus, they chose a lot of their characters based off of who was in newer projects, and M.O.D.O.K. was not only in the current show but is apparently supposed to be in Captain America 2. Plus, I'm sure they looked at him and though they could design a new and unique fighting style for him, which is always a plus.
Most characters have that weird aesthetic issue, if not all. Normally Spencer's left arm is the bionic one, but if he's Player 2, it becomes the right one.
