That is so pretty for a dollhouse I really love the way you did that I think I'm going to do that to some of my old doll furniture cuz I have so much detailed crochet teeny-tiny lace that could go on a dollhouse and then paint it thanks for sharing that it's beautiful and it makes it look very expensive to
this is so cool, UA-cam algorithm has finally brought me somewhere awesome. I was wondering what made you choose fabric-tac. I would've thought to use Gorilla Glue so that the adhesive would stick to the wood better and Fabric-tac is usually used for fabric-on-fabric gluing. When gluing, do you want your lace piece to feel fully saturated with glue? Or more just tacky on the back?
Awesome! So glad you found my channel. I started using Fabritac recently because Darkest Raven Designs was always using it for everything and I wanted to try it out. It holds quickly and bonds many materials. I've used it to attach fabric to multiple surfaces but I've also used it for gluing plastic to plastic, glass to wood and cardboard to cardboard. It's quickly become my new favorite glue. It can be a bit stringy but I really like how quickly it holds. Fabritac is designed to avoid saturating fabric and showing through the front. I applied a small amount on the back making sure to cover all the surfaces of the lace so it would be firmly attached. Wood glue takes a much longer time to set so I'm not sure how well it would work. If you try it, let me know! Thank you
Thank you! I feel like I have almost no ideas until I get started. Then I try some things until something works. My edited videos make it look like a linear process but it's trial and error.
My last comment was supposed to go with another vid you made- don't know how it got on this one...anyway, I love the results of this make over! The color is gorgeous!
@@queencityminis thank you! I've gotten a few things from them many years ago. That lamp is adorable! I don't know if it's still in business but I use to get some of my Minis from dollshouse emporium UK/USA
Thank you! I love this lamp. It's absolutely gorgeous. I have a Jim Pounder floor lamp with a hanging silk shade. That's a unique one. A different artisan made the shade. I'll have to include it in a future haul video. It's awesome.
I have been doing dollhouse miniatures for about 35 years and this just blew my mind! Absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that
WOW that turned out beautiful. I like the lace addition and it made the piece pop out at you. Thanks for sharing and you have a wonderful day

Thank you! I have a couple other ideas in mind to test this out on
Brilliant, why didn’t I think of this way to embellish my furniture? Thank you so much for sharing.
You are so welcome!
I really like this idea. I may even have some decent lace ribbon. Hmmmmmm....
Go for it! It's really satisfying when you paint it and unify the look. I'll admit it looks a little strange before paint 😜
It turned out So Beautiful!! What a Wonderful Idea! Thank You!!
You are so welcome!
What a beautiful transformation! Thanks for sharing the idea!
You're welcome 🤗 I should do another furniture makeover soon.
oh that came out nice! I have used this technique with picture frames and glass jars❤ it's nice to see it applied to furniture pieces!
I've also used it on picture frames but never glass jars. That sounds awesome. What did you make?
@@queencityminis the glass jars are recycled decorative jars eventually I will coat them, when I get a break from my minis..lol
That's really cool
This came out super elegant🥰
Thank you ☺️ I'd love to try this technique on plain furniture and try to make it look like carved wood.
One of the best tutorials I’ve ever watched!!! Thank you for your time and techniques.😊
Thank you so much! There's plenty more where that came from ☺️

So creative! Love the color!
Thank you :) I really love Palladian Blue. I painted my old kitchen that color. I had leftover paint and I'm slowly using it up by painting minis.
You are so clever! That turned out great!
Thank you :) I have plans for more accessories using this technique.
Thank you for this video. Really helpful information!

I love it !!!❤😊
Thank you ☺️
I love this! I will definitely be trying it out 😊
Awesome! I'm sure it'll turn out great.
Wow! I wonder if this would work on a wall or ceiling for a hand-carved plastered ornamental moulding look. 🤔
I bet it would!
Ooooh, a ceiling medallion around the base of a light fixture or chandelier.
Love this! You are a genius and I have no idea where you get your ideas from but they are fantastic!
Thank you so much 😊 I have glued trim to wood to decorate miniature frames for art and realized it would work to embellish furniture, too.
Oh, my goodness! You are so amazingly talented! How do you think of these things for so small a scale?! Awesome video.

Very, very pretty
Thank you! I'm starting a new project: a mini boutique in 1:12 scale. There will be lots of pretty things to come.
