Dollhouse CABINET From Scratch ~DIY~ Miniature Furniture
Вставка
- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- I was Inspired by Old Scandinavian Style Cabinets and Wanted to Make One for a Dollhouse 1:12th Scale. I Had a Rough Idea About the Size of the Cabinet but the Rest I Just Made up as I Went Along (Style and Details etc.) I had to Adjust (Sanding / Cutting) Some Sizes of the Cabinet, Especially After Painting as it Added Thickness to Some of the Parts. I did add a tiny bit of glue to the hinges as the holes got too big and the pins were too loose. It was just enough to keep the pins in and not glue the doors shut.

Beautiful work. Great video
Thank you very much💕
Oh my! I will just say once more how much I LOVE this piece!!! I went straight from the short to this video. I have an antique cupboard in my kitchen I use for a pantry. It's nearly identical to your cabinet but without the charming detail on the doors! I have been dreaming of creating a piece like this but don't think I quite have the skills to pull it off. This sure makes me want to try. I have bookmarked this video for reference and inspiration! A very beautiful miniature! 🥰✨
You can do it, Dot!
Thank you very much💕I really wanted to make a cabinet with some fancy detail on the doors. I tried differnt materials but the aluminium wire was the best one for me. It's so soft and easy to bend to almost any shape. Gluing it on was a bit tricky though. I have also now discovered that the Pebeo relief outliner is great to fill in any small gaps between the wire and wood. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me.
Definitely!!💕💕
Beautiful
Thank you 💕😊
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Thank you so much Gretchen 💕💕💕😊
Precioso. Un trabajo excelente..como siempre 💕💕💕
¡Muchas gracias!💕
Looked to be hard on your fingers. Such a lovely cabinet.
Thank you 😊💕 The plywood was a bit difficult to cut with a craft knife. I need some better tools 😄
This is beautiful. I love your attention to detail. I am a bit amazed at how you freehand things. Mine would be quite cattywampus! TFS!
Thank you!! 😊💕

What a magnificent wardrobe! I love the result!😍😍
I always have a little apprehension about cutting wood. But I must admit that it is worth it!
Thank you for this detailed tutorial!
💕💕💞💞
Thank you very much 😊💕 The plywood was a bit difficult to cut with a craft knife. I need to invest in proper tools to make it much easier for myself.
Just wow
Thank you 💕😊
Замечательно!!!
Большое спасибо! Рада что тебе понравилось💕
So fancy! I love all the detail you put into the cabinet, its so beautiful.
Thank you 💕😊 I was so tempted to add more detail but it would have been way too ornate. I do want to make a furniture with gilded details etc. a really over the top one 😂
@@tinycraftlife I would LOVE to see that! I have some gold leaf stuff but its so super delicate to work with, but it really adds that luxurious touch to things.
So beautiful! Thanks for teaching!❤️
Thank you and you are very welcome 😊💕

Thank you 💕😊 I did add a tiny bit of glue to the hinges as the holes got too big and the pins were too loose. Luckily it was just enough to keep the pins in and not glue the doors shut 🤣
Its Beautiful!! ❤
Thank you 😊💕
That was amazing ❤ I understand your frustration when you think your measurements are perfect and then you find out that they are not 🤦♀️ and everything needs to change, what a difference in size just some paint and sealer can make, but it’s so hard to know how much of a difference you have to account for 🤨 but you did it in the end and the result is fantastic 👏🏻👍🏻 time to celebrate 🎉 😂
Thank you 😊💕 It really was frustrating. Just a few millimeters can make such a difference. I've definitely learnt a few things making this cabinet.
Wow! 😍👍
Thank you 💕😊
Naturally, your work is delighful. But this muzak! Oh my. Its the massage palor ahem - wellness center - vibe; makes me wanna look in my bag for $100! Do a voice over! Youre so informative.

What is the name of the tool you used to drill the holes called? And where did you get the glue bottle, and what is it called? With thanks.
You can find those tools in many different websites. I got mine from the UK Amazon website. If you search for small hand held drills, there are a lot of different ones available. Mine was a cheap one with different drill bits. The glue I use for the 'Glass' (acetate) doors is Deluxe Materials Glue 'n' Glaze. The main glue I used is a tacky glue called Duncan Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue 😊💕
❤❤❤💯💯👏👏👍👍
Thank you💕
What is the machine you use to cut the wood
The orange tool is called Multi Angle Miter Shear Cutter Hand Tool. Great tool to use when making miniatures😄
Que tipo de madeira é essa?
Utilicé madera contrachapada de 2 mm de espesor para la construcción principal y luego madera Balsa de 2 mm de espesor para los detalles más pequeños 😊💕
Beautiful!
