Sees a bear, decides to cowboy camp hours later! Badass! I would die a happy man if I could somehow manage to live the rest of my life in that area. I also would be lucky to get more than a couple miles a day...to much stopping to soak all in... Great video brother!

Hiking some gorgeous country out there. All the water so crystal clear makes you just want to dive right in. I saw that bear high tailing it off the trail.

Cedar Grove is our favorite place on earth! The farthest we've hiked from there is just a day hike to Paradise Valley. We''ve been tent campers all our lives, but now we're older and have a trailer. Kings Canyon/Cedar Grove is always our destination, though. Thanks for kicking off our season with this video (Cedar Grove opens April 26 this year). :)
And now the journey really starts!!!!! I really know your going to love your new home because I really love the that whole damn island . No better place to live for a fisherman , just think of all the new species of fish any of which are great to eat. Their is much to tell you but I can't now this video might make me late to celebrate my sister birthday brunch where today she turns 66 and for one day and one day only she'll be the same age as me. Since the next 2 days are going to rain I will do my BD hike on Wed for 3 days with fishing at Packwood and a jaunt up trail 81 to elk pass if it doesn't snow which it might. I hope you filmed your expression when you get to that big ass ferry and all the new views that will be so different than your use to.

It's like going home - How does Mary Poppins like her new ULA Circuit? Which bear can fits inside of it? I am thinking of the Catalyst, to fit my BV500 inside. Love the sound of the streams. Can you imagine the snowmelt flow going over that smooth granite of Bubbs Creek? I can't go hiking for a long while, so I do love getting my trail fix thru these videos. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post. What will you be hiking this season? Happy Trails.
I'm not sure how she likes her new backpack or what bear can fit, I hope to hike the Great Devide Trail in British Columbia and Alberta this year but I just moved out west and started a new job so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it work, if not there will lots of hiking here on Vancouver Island.

Been on the bubbs creek drainage several times and have seen bear everytime.

A lot of the lakes are stocked, not exactly sure which ones.
