I learned so much with this. Had ZERO clue you could manipulate the camera path like that! Life changing

That was really cool, fast and easy to follow. I can't wait to master MASH so that I can stay within Maya for motion graphics work.

Skills. How are higher institutes of learning supposed to compete with people giving away this level of knowledge for free? Thanks Ian

Awesome tutorials...however sometimes I think you create design contain upwards of 15000-60000 particles to crash GPUs and strain our tiring computer systems. ha!~Thanks for the videos Ian.

How do you get the show in tangents marking menu?

Hi! I've been trying to follow your tutorial but unfortunately I think a lot of the menus have changed/gone in the 2018 version? Any chance you can update them (even just typing what the menus changed too here would help?) I've been through all your 'type' tutorials and faced issues with all of them :( In this one, the random node position settings are different?

In Maya 2020 I do have the problem, that the "add" funktion in the fall off shape doesnt work as soon as i animate the fall off shape. Is there a workaround or solution to this issue?
    Great tutorial !!!

Hi. Thanks for the tutorial! Sadly, couldn't complete all the steps. My falloff cube keeps disintegrating the letters after having passed through them even in add mode. Do you know, what the problem could be? I tried the same parameters as you have. The only thing is I work in Maya 2018.

I used this method . but the mash animation or mash particals were not visible in final render sequence. I used Render sequence instead of batch render because I didn't want it to be rendered with Arnold water mark. can please give a solution how to fix this problem .

    Hi,
    Great stuff!
BTW--Using Maya 2017 this error occurred when creating the Merge node:
    "AEMASH_WaiterTemplate.mel line 832: No object matches name MASH1" .
It turns out I had renamed the MASH1 waiter to MASH_Text. Once I renamed it back to MASH1, I was able to connect the merge node to the waiter.
