- alamofastdraw.com Bob Graham 4 time World Fast Draw Champion was on the show called I've Got A Secret in 1966. Bob is a friend of mine and has been a big part of the Fast Draw world for many years. He is a Gunfighter with a Fast Draw. Bob does some fast shooting at the end of the video with his single action pistol but the whole video is fun.
Thank you for sharing this video. My husband and I enjoyed it very much.
That's my father -- thanks for posting this - I'd never seen it, although, I knew he'd been on the show. Awesome!
Really? That's cool! And up above Arvo Ojala's daughter piped up too! That's pretty cool!
Danielle Smith wow.didn't know you. I'm Patricias grandson...Bobs sister.
I knew Brandon, Clint, and his second wife Diane.
@@orb2150tx- Twelve points from Norway 🧐
Esteban Kozak different time. less refined.
Esteban Kozak so do most action movies and shows.
Mr. Graham built me a fast draw pistol in 2002.. cylinder and barrel he made out of titanium... It didn't make me a champion but it got me closer than I probably deserved! thanks!!!
I had Mr. Graham and the late great Bob Munden customize my two Colt .45 revolvers and wow what smooth and accurate shooters they are !!!!
i called bob about a wax gun that he made for a friend of mine and what a wonderful man he is a true gentleman....... thanks dave & gary from back east
WOW! This was a really great vid but the comments from the family members just made it Awesome! :) I wish that I could have met Mr. Bob Graham as he seems to have been a pretty amazing man!
He just passed away at the end of Feb. '23. He was a pretty good step-dad to me for/in my formative years (5-16ish).
That's my Great Uncle Bobby! Wow, so cool!
B Golden hi, Bianca.
This is my grandpa!
I wonder if any of TV stations nowadays will air (or even dare to allow) this kind of live show.
Sin-chi Kong There's many gun related shows on history channel, etc. More popular now than ever.
This kind of comic act is daily fare , mister...
NEVER!! Liberals would have a raging fit!!
"a raging fit" about a capgun shooting library assistant.......sure partner...... this comic act might be right in your republican shoes...
Wonder if they hung their holster this way in Texas, right under their balls😂....
.....would make for some interesting gun duels.....8:48 😏
@@robertl.woodsjr.2712 no kidding, they couldn't get their vagina hats on fast enough!🤣
In the west, the slower draw usually won (gunfights were rare BTW) because the fast guy would miss. The slow guy took a moment to aim. This guy is a real pro obviously; not typical of the general population.
Yeah. I also read that hardly anyone walked around with pistol strapped to their side cause people would think you're a gun fighter and it would lead to trouble. Most people's weapon of choice was a shotgun. It's hard to miss with a shotgun.
"I learned this position from Arthur Murray."
Arthur Murray was the owner of a world-renowned franchise of dance studios teaching, among other things, proper "frame" for partner dancing. The studios still exist but in smaller numbers AFAIK.
bruzote...lol .. my Mom was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray in the 50s.
Nobody "dances" anymore.
Always loved that show
Very humble nice guy, and fast.
That's my Uncle Bobby. He was my grandmas brother.
He was also on current affair. Never knew about this.pretty cool
This was your uncle and your family never mentioned his fame? I CALL BULLSHIT! Go fuck yourself. No one that thinks with both sides of their brains would believe your comment is true.
he's talking about this particular tv show not his uncle's fame... Both part of your brain Tony really? He said he was also on "current affair" which means he was on another tv show to, which also means he knows about his uncle Bob you knob.
@@leescott2069 thanks man. Yeah I lived with him in Cut n Shoot Texas in the 80s thats when he was on current affair.. He had 2 sons who were older than me Clint and Brandon and his wife Diane who had a hair salon. They also had 2 horses.
Anyhow
@@orb2150tx Might this be Robert!? It wasn't Current Affair, it was PM Magazine and The Today Show and those two show's were focused on mom, because she'd just won the Women's World Championship in '79. As a matter of fact it was Leeza Gibbons who did the story for PM Magazine just before she hit it big.
Now this is something n station would dare show on TV.
Bob Munden 4/100ths of a second if I recall correctly. It's so fast you cannot see it with the naked eye.
.31/seconds
Great video, I can't point it out but I enjoy the general manner and demeanor of past generations. What does he say about the real wild west shooting? I missed that part, something about shooters having guns out already.
LOL.
What I like is that for one Diebold now makes ATMs, second that they had loaded (with wax) guns on stage, and that the host actually let the guy draw a loaded (or not) gun and point it straight at him!
Penn and Teller have pointed guns at host's and each other.
The host is Steve Allen, best host ever of the Tonight Show (he was before Johnny Carson) and a guy always ready for anything entertaining.
the clap and draw was done by the actor Hugh O'Brian from a Western TV series he did but with 2 guns, sorry I forget the name of the TV series, but I believe he performed for British television this at Heathrow Airport
Bob Munden was fastest ever,,,,he was amazing!
Not everybody was timed.
Fastest ever timed against a timer, not a person.
@Milton Holley Fastest against a timer, yes. Fastest against a man, no. There is a big difference between the two.
@gemini232003 He was a freak. No one is Munden's league for accuracy to go with that speed.
K. W. Churchill Fun fact....Munden had the timer start when he drew, it was not a reaction shot from a light or beep.
I wonder how this would go over today?
Did Bob Graham and Bob Munden ever compete? Who is faster?
is Bob still alive? Is he retired? I am trying to find contact info on him and I can't find it anywhere. I want to know if he is still doing gunsmithing.
I'm his stepson and he just passed the end of Feb. '23, I'm sad to say. If I'd seen this a long while back, I'd have gotten you in touch with him.
Who is the host? He has a lot of charisma. That bit at the end, where he beat the clap, crazy.
Steve Allen. He was THE FIRST who invented the late night talk shows back about 56-7.
A strong Christian gentleman who took out full page newspaper ads promoting Jesus Christ.
Look it up.
That’s Steve Allen. He was the Host on the Tonight Show, after Jack Parr was fired, but before Jonny Carson.
Steve Allen invented the programs. #1.
Steve Allen was first. Look it up
Niiiice. He is really fast.
Bob Munden could draw, hit 2 targets with two bullets and shoot so it sounded as one shot and holster the gun again in two tenths of a second... Now that is what i call stone cold cool
+MrSwiftmick Munden shot wax. Who cares. He would not hit jack shit with real ammo in two tenths of a second.
+Tec 9: you simply do not know what you are babbling about! Wikipedia states Bob Munden was given the title: "Fastest Man with a Gun Who Ever Lived,"
tkarlmann Who cares. He shot blanks. They don't even recoil. He's the fastest blank and wax shooter which is nothing.
Tec 9 That's blabber! Bob shot, the targets went down. Who cares about "an actual gunfight"? I don't care if some call him a Showman as opposed to a competition shooter at all. What Bob Munden was able to was fantastic and utterly incredible, period.
I appreciate what Bob did my father is Arvo Ojala The legendary Hollywood gun coach to the stars. The originator maker, designer and US patent holder. Since 1954 of the original metal lined fast draw holster. My father as many and myself who was trained by my father., By the way. Believe the truth Astra was not a breakaway holster but draw on firing from the holster clean. He considered the fast draw a cheat if through a breakaway holster. He shot at a six for the second hitting the target. As you can see on gunsmoke that ran for 18 years
I'd not ever seen it either! I knew about it, but thank goodness for UA-cam, huh?
that was a fun upload
Steve Allen loved his Tonight Show
You're implying he himself loved the Tonight Show.
You infer he DIDN'T?
@@chuckcap6878 Steve was in reality an arrogant JERK who rarely failed with sexual innuendos towards his female guests, and in this day and age, would ACTUALLY not be in there entertainment businesses, as he would have been sued poor, and blackballed. Read ANY book about him, and watch his shows. He's a a vile egotistical creature.
@@tinahedge5569 i disagree
very good video !
He is fast but Bob Munden had frightened this man and Bob never used wax, just lead .
I`ve watched this a dozzen times - and I still can`t see his draw !

ランプの点灯が、ロゴでよく見えないのが、残念。
One of the women said "how about a belt" at 4:25 lol. Would've probably helped a lot if he kept going with that on his guesses
Very cool
Eli eve castes celebrity gun was Sammy Davis jr
Yes Sammy Davis Jr was also a Fast Draw with the single action Colt
While the others on the panel are applauding the guest, 5:09 is the typical response I'd expect from a New York liberal on anything that had to do with firearms.
what hapened to "enter and sign in please"?
What's my line @Dr. Hannibal Lester
Steve Allen was the best.
.76 wasn’t too bad for a civilian.
He drew from a standing brace, this fast draw guy cheats...
Steve was not as innocent as it seems.
😁
Hi! Well Bad Ass Bob shows off his gun around 4:58 if Y'all cant wait!
He allready hold the gun, than tild it and shoot..free hands grap the gun and shoot and put it back in the holster
fanning glove?
> 8:54< "Wild".....what a clown..needed a glove for protection and be able to cock the hammer...look at the position he was already in and the the way he hung his holster....
He might as well have layed the gun on a table with his hand right above it......Real Texas pride,...🤠...partner...😂
At Kearny High in San Diego, we had an assembly with a fast-draw champion (1966 or so). I was given a gun and had to simply pull the trigger when the light came on. He drew, cocked and fired before I could even get off a shot!
Id still crap my pants quicker than he could fire...lol
WOW !!! Thats Betsy Palmer ! Pamela Vorhees From Friday The 13TH 1980.
Wow!,that's Jason's mom how cool is that😎😎🗡👍
Amazing!
bob munden draws and hits in 2/100ths of a second-as of 2016
Nick the Quick does that and he's not just being timed on his draw, he's reacting to the light. Ernie Hill is just as fast, slightly faster as I understand.
Notice how big his hands are for such a small man.
That old school shit was nice.....
Betsy Palmer was the lady who play Jason Vorhees mom in Friday the 13th. "Kill her mommy! You can't let her get away!!!!!!!!"
Betsy Palmer was a hottie. My opinion.
Jerry Miculek makes this guy look like he's in a coma. Good historical clip though.
but how would you do against a man and real bullets
Has anyone ever come close to Bob Munden?
Steve wasn't bad .
This is cool.
Jeez, why does the quality look like it was filmed in 1966 or something? Need 1080p atleast bro.
It was filmed in the 1950s
I wished we could see this video in real time.
No mm mm
Watched this episode when it originally aired. Quit watching TV back in '92 since it had devolved into nothing but garbage.
Im going to be abit dramatic in saying this , but i think you will get the concept . The phrase adapt or die comes to mind .
you CAN turn the channel.....but no better to label it all as garbage...you are a fool.
TV did become garbage. The garbage era started with Howard Stern. Other networks saw Stern's success and they started allowing shitty shows like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich and basically yell at each other shows. Then the reality show The Osbournes started and now you have empty bland shows like The Kardashians. All that started in part because of a writers strike in the 90s and reality shows didn't need writers. You could just point a camera a retards and you had a show.
@@springfieldkid3930 Adapt to trash? Why would anyone do that?
I guess what the big take away here is: if you need to draw you gun quickly... Always wear a "raincoat"!
Guns ! Run for the hills !
Call SWAT !
I don't think that gun is taking down a criminal no matter how many times you shoot him.
The fuckin' 50's these days. Good video.
Big iron on hip.
No....tiny iron.
Btw, Lamont Cranston = The Shadow
Lamont Cranston is also the name of a Minneapolis based blues band.
Awesome!
7:45 if you could see the crowd there would be a whole bunch ducking...
Why?
this will never be on regular tv ever in the future sad but true so many anto gun activists it's disgusting
Betsy Palmer, sweet.
The Waco kid 🤣
I recognise his voice. Lol. He's famous.
What's up with the jerky delayed video?
53 years.
24 fps vs 60 fps
Wow all white people, nobody with orange yellow or green hair, nobody morbidly obese, nobody yelling and shrieking about diversity and last but not least it involved a gun and this was entertainment a few decades ago. This was back when America was wholesome and it's the America that most of us if we could close our eyes and imagine it would be like this and I don't mean all white people.
Can you imagine this happening n a modern show? The people of today are so craven and weak half of them would feint when the gun was visible the other half would stampede the exit EVEN IF THEY KNEW WHAT THE EVENT WOULD BE ! Truly we are decadent and decaying people.
Canny good this better then nearly all the rubbish they put on telly now
I was wrong, Bob Munden draws, cocks the pistol, levels, fires, and hits his target in 2/100ths of a second...Here he is doing it in 1986: ua-cam.com/video/XsU5AMxvlKg/v-deo.html
is that jimmy Stuart
Did any part of the "World" other than the US agree to Bob being the "World Fast Draw Champion"? Asking for a friend.
Oh 2 FPS how i have missed you.
He was great, but I'd never let a man draw a loaded gun on me. I guess it being single action provided the safety, but I'd have preferred he unload.
Very bad demonstration of safety, the wad from a blank can seriously wound or kill. I would never allow anyone to even point an empty gun at me.
@@alanmcneill2407- Bob Graham was not as used to weapons as you are. a poor world champion, what can he know about such things.
Wouldn't see such a show today. Just think about all the kids who would see it. Gasp! They would want to grow up to be killers too.
Gsn.com symbol right in the way with this many views world wide I'd like to think it could be placed in a better spot.
You will never see this again.....
Jerry Miculek
@ i mean on prime time TV......
Damn Betsy Is A Real Looker 😮😮😮
The lady on the left is the killer in the first Friday The 13th movie.Jason’s mother.
I kinda remember this show but didn't realize that blond woman was so hot when I was 6 years old!
Bob Munden would have blown this guy away but he came along much kater?

In today's time is there faster people
Hollywood invention like the roping saddle
And wrestling was a Roman invention....doesn't make it invalid.
I think wrestling was an invention of all races and people my people did it and we are American Indians and gun slinging is fake as to history
and one other thing it is called Greco - Roman which means the Romans got it from Greece
@@franklinarchambault5397 My point exactly....just because it's a man-made invention does not invalidate it. Shooting this fast is a sport. Shooting well with intention wins gunfights. And F*** Hollywood. We've been shooting and shooting well in this country long before Hollywood put it on the screen. Like it or not, art mimics life.
what started it was the one true standup fight in the empty lot behind the OK corral but there was no fast draw and most was a shot in the back and I am not nocking the sport I just like to keep things on the up and up
😎👍
ed mcgivern,,,,,5 shots from a stock 38 spl double action pistol, firing into a playing card at 15 ft,,,,,,2/5 of a second. Lets see someone top that with an unmodified pistol or holster. Ed could do the same thing,, 5 bullet holes at 15ft with a single action pistol in 1 2/5 seconds,,,,,
I'll take Carlos Hathcock and his ilk over Ed any day, unless I'm watching a show under the Big Top.
