Some of the best automotive content going on UA-cam right here. Seriously blowing other build channels out of the water. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see this thing running!
I’m really enjoying the build! You two have great screen personalities and I’m learning a lot, even though I have no interest in doing something similar. Thanks!
BongWiz Mike Asf definitely agree..with you bro they are killing it with the cars..iv just started my own UA-cam and iv got so many projects it’s funny to see I’m not the only one building more then one car at a time.👍🏽👍🏽
Enjoying the e46 build, it takes time but every time i see it makes me excited as i am currently doing my own build on my e46 - supercharging it and adding lots of stuff that punches a whole in my pocket lol. Thanks for the good content, keep it up as it keeps me motivated. Thinking of starting to record the videos and putting it on youtube too as e46 is such a legendary car deserves the content instead of the new bmw's that has nothing to do with what bmw used to be.
Hey! I would hammer flat that crimped metal along the firewall as it will likely begin to cut into that small coolant pipe at the back. The motor, regardless of how stiff your mounts are, will naturally twist a bit, so that metal will make quick work of that hose.
Am I a day oner if I subscribed when you had less than 5,000 subscribers haha? I told my mate that this channel was going to blow up, few years later and it sure has! Keep up the excellent content!
I bet you guy could make your own A/C lines! I did on my S54 top mount turbo setup! We are cutting the lines off and put A/N fitting on each end but when you put the fitting on make sure you put on Blue Monster Thread tape! Just cut your stock lines for the 2Jz
the wire to the starter motor could run under the engine along the crossmember, thats how it is on the toyota aristo, it will make it look much neater. would be a shorter run of wire too.
Guys, in the UK we have a cheap steering rack upgrade for e46 called the purple rack swap, it takes the rack from a lesser e46 (330ci etc) as they have a quicker rack which improves the steering feel on your m3. Here's some more info, worth doing while the car isn't fully assembled: forums.m3cutters.co.uk/threads/quicker-purple-tag-steering-rack.125964/#post-1661568
Speed Academy It is great, waiting patiently for more.... I love the technical stuff and the problem solving. It’s a huge job, it’s going to take a few minutes😂. I did like the 911 series a little better, it’s still my favorite👍 You’re 930 is 😍😍my dream car.
Great video again be better without the adverts & for some bloody reason the video had a slight Hayes to it couldn't upgrade my picture quality past my limit of 750p witch is bloody horrendously irritating but none the less keep up they good work
the back panel isnt carbon composite, it should be glass filled plastic, or known as glass fiber reinforced plastic, if you run a razor across an edge to cut a sliver off youll hear the glass fibers being cut.
Man the engine that close to the firewall piece you installed, is it not going to hit when driving around? The engine and trans will move a bit, especially under hard driving as I'm sure you guys know.
Pretty hard to tell in the video, but is that coolant line brushing the firewall? With the engine sure to move slightly under load, I'd worry about it chafing and bursting over time.
Build is coming along nicely, very tasteful mods too :) What oil grade are you going to use for the jz? Just out of curiosity, i will try 5w50 valvoline for first time on my supercharged e46 330ci.
Love the channel. No expense spared build with V-Power plugs? (Ahem, Iridium). Also, don't they make 1-piece 2J exhaust gaskets? Keep up the good work!
Sweet! I'm actually about to do the same swap, I did a 1j in a 330ci, car ran great. Now I have the e46 m3 that I'm going to do the 2jz into... what would you guess estimate the cost for the total rebuilt?
I'm always so surprised about how much effort and money you put on the asthetics of the car.. i mean they are cars mostly for the track where i'd prefer to spend the money on making it faster haha love the content! thanks for teaching me so much guys!!
Great episodes! How ever this build doesn't make any sense, I always wonder why they don't mention prices for parts... 🤔. Prices are ridiculous, you're better off buying a super car. I have the same car and honestly felt like I just wasted my time watching these episodes... not for the regular Joe!
yep. Bit of an improvement but not all the way there. Probably needs a microfiber cutting pad and something like Meguiar's 105 or 110, then finish with 205/210 or Sonax Perfect Finish.
"we want the wiring to look nice, clean, professional" *proceeds to route starter live power wire over the top of the engine in line with getting torn up by the cam gears making it look ugly af*
STOP making do with that small firewall panel and cut out a larger area. Give the engine plenty of room as it will move and vibrate when operating. Use tape and thin aluminum to build an inward bulged patch. Then send it to a shop that can fix and repaint it. DO it properly or you will be sorry.

Much love, thank you!
I've been purposely not watching this series,Just binged the whole thing, awesome work guys
I’m really enjoying the build! You two have great screen personalities and I’m learning a lot, even though I have no interest in doing something similar. Thanks!
Heck yes!! So much closer to being finished! Great job!
Dimmer setting to set the mood while you work on your baby lol
This build is next level. Easily the most impressive so far!
DP looking thicc in that hoodie, chasing gains swapping all them auto parts.
These guys deserve milions of subs
My favorite channel to watch for quality build and entertaining content! So glad the STI build part 1 appeared on my recommended
I love this channel! Awesome content for real 😎

Looking good boys!

+1 for replacing with panicwire sheathing.
My fav series

Very excited to see this project getting close to running. It should be an absolute blast to drive!
Almost at 300k subscribers! Congrats boys!
love yall, this build so gnarly
This is such a great project. I’m glad to see this thing coming together.
This build series has been amazing ♥️
1 would've thought that Y'all, sprung for a CSL deck lid.....Cheers's from East-Van B.C.
why only 300k subs i dont know
best channel auto love it

Those Milwaukee hood lights are amazing! I have one myself, and it lights up the engine bay brilliantly! Was a freebie too for me lol
That’s a great bmtoyo build 👍
Wow, you got lucky with those M3 parts, and in the right colour as well!
You guys are killin it!
love this channel
Loving this and the evo episodes
Those lights are awesome
I'm for the lingerie sheething too!
This channel is so much more fun than a lot of the other trash builder channels out there... How the fuck do you guys not have 1M+ subs?
I bet you guy could make your own A/C lines! I did on my S54 top mount turbo setup! We are cutting the lines off and put A/N fitting on each end but when you put the fitting on make sure you put on Blue Monster Thread tape! Just cut your stock lines for the 2Jz
Power wire looks fine
Yoo Dave congrats on Buffing the rear lid 😍😍
amazing work as always guys 💯🔥
Awesome episode

Cool, thanks for the info! 👍🏼
Also that lid you cut where the heater matrix hoses goes it’s a lot lighter part from the csl
Donor M3 looks like it has the nice OEM Euro Westfalia hideway hitch. Grab that thing and sell it too.
Yes! It was going to be removed by the shop.
So yeah..I just binge watched this series to this episode...😂
Awesome! Did it feel long to you? Or an easy watch? We’re worried its dragging out with all the small technical things needed to finish.

Fan in Haiti
I really hope you had a well fitted particulate filter on while you were trimming that panel. That dust can be really bad for humans.
Thanks for looking out, yes we're always wearing masks as much as we can to prevent us getting sick.
Plenum cover 👍 You will need to seal it or you will get fumes / smells in as the cabin blower draws air in from here.
It’s more an engine coul
You can probably make your own AC hoses. One of your partners probably has the crimping tool. You just need hose and fittings.
Great video again be better without the adverts & for some bloody reason the video had a slight Hayes to it couldn't upgrade my picture quality past my limit of 750p witch is bloody horrendously irritating but none the less keep up they good work
She’s getting there
lol 😂 you guys got as many projects as I do.
More Corolla hatchback build videos please
the back panel isnt carbon composite, it should be glass filled plastic, or known as glass fiber reinforced plastic, if you run a razor across an edge to cut a sliver off youll hear the glass fibers being cut.
It’s a SUPRA tight fit.
Man the engine that close to the firewall piece you installed, is it not going to hit when driving around? The engine and trans will move a bit, especially under hard driving as I'm sure you guys know.
Maybe you guys should have went with the smaller 1JZ
Pretty hard to tell in the video, but is that coolant line brushing the firewall? With the engine sure to move slightly under load, I'd worry about it chafing and bursting over time.
will the porsche ever be back on the channel?
Nice jz mmmmm
I hope they didn't throw away those seats. I'd love to have that driver seat
Build is coming along nicely, very tasteful mods too :) What oil grade are you going to use for the jz? Just out of curiosity, i will try 5w50 valvoline for first time on my supercharged e46 330ci.
Awesome!
Is rain coming off the windshield going to run onto the engine now?
Love the channel. No expense spared build with V-Power plugs? (Ahem, Iridium). Also, don't they make 1-piece 2J exhaust gaskets? Keep up the good work!
poor wrecked m3 :( but your car looks better thanks to him! nice progress
weld a pipe to the coolant pipe in order to be just a metal pipe and not a hose.
Com on when this car is done
Notification squadddd
The donor M3 has the carbon fiber/cube trim trim on it and you didn’t take it??? 🤯
You can run a electric 12v ac compressor.
More corolla videos
When’s the next EVO video!?
Noice!
Keep the red non sleeved wire, looks better with more colour
Sweet! I'm actually about to do the same swap, I did a 1j in a 330ci, car ran great. Now I have the e46 m3 that I'm going to do the 2jz into... what would you guess estimate the cost for the total rebuilt?
I love counties but you're going to need better tires than that I think!
We may swap over to some R-compounds if need be.
There was a little dent I noticed for a slight second on the passenger door by the window
How do you join in the $25 a month I only see a 4.99 option.
Do you guys have a Gregg's distribution or green line out east in onterrible? They can both do hoses
Reply with Dave and Pete catch phrases for stickers on an imaginary speed academy race car;
'and just like that!'
"Would you look at this"
i cant believe you left the carbon fiber trim in that insurance car :(
What kind of seats are in the front of the 2jz bmw
I'm always so surprised about how much effort and money you put on the asthetics of the car.. i mean they are cars mostly for the track where i'd prefer to spend the money on making it faster haha love the content! thanks for teaching me so much guys!!
It's not like they're skimping on the performance, why not have both!
What are keeping ac for!?
If you don't thumbs up a Speed Academy vid before even watching, you are doing something wrong!
#gridlife
Power wire is NOT a win.🤣 Just go seen Nam...you dont want to regret something so easy to make right.
2:20am 🤔 might aswell 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤣
what if you win outside of canada/usa? like europe?
i got as many school projects as the amount of projcet cars they have
Aba Dibi yeah but the difference is that you have a deadline and they don't
@@h.0436 whats your problem dude....

What happened to Weekends with Moose?
Did he run out of money or talent?
Oof.. that deck lid needs more correction work.
yep. Bit of an improvement but not all the way there. Probably needs a microfiber cutting pad and something like Meguiar's 105 or 110, then finish with 205/210 or Sonax Perfect Finish.
Forget the a/c, your in Canada.
When the temp is 95F with 100% humidity you want A/C
To each their own. But they still live in Canada not a rain forest.
@@jarodwhiting3676 who's talking about a rain forrest? I live reletively close to them. That's our summer weather and A/C is a priority for me too.
@@lb9gta307 cool bro, enjoy your shitty weather and rusty cars
@@jarodwhiting3676 I only have one rusty car. My other one is rust free and has been for all 32 years of its life. I do enjoy driving them though 👍

you're not gonna be killing any supercars worrying about leather seats, clearcoat and how the power cable looks.
Wire doesn't look good. Get the right stuff.
the whole project is awesome apart from that F*cking 2j

First world problems. Hey, give us more money so we can buy more tires and turbo kits! Y'all some greedy canadians! 😭😭
it is taking way to long guys, 15th episode and you still didn't start the engine yet
Don't watch then
