When I saw the 23 Purple T and they were talking about it and the owner said he picked the color to impress the ladies! He should of said "Because Chicks Dig It!" kinda like the country western song a while back! All very cool cars!!
kickit59 I think he is dreaming about the woman loving it as well. Wishful thinking is what I Thought. The only girls impressed by cars are exactly that. Girls. Jailbait.
Dennis, I know you love your Buick's, but I also know that some shows have the most beautiful car design ever made in production, and that is a "67 Plymouth Barracuda fastback. I've watched dozens of your car show / show n shine episodes, and I've yet to see you showcase even one of them. I even saw you showcase an AMC Marlin, for God sake;which was a direct ripoff of the A body Barracuda. The Barracuda deserves it's accolades, as it was the first pony car by beating the Mustang to release by 2 weeks in 1964 and it was a full year, not a half year as a "64 1/2 mustang was. It was America's first fastback car, and also still holds the record of the largest rear glass in any production car, at over 14 square feet of glass with it's wrap around rear window. It was also the first car to have separate parking lights, meaning could be switched on without headlights. In 1967 Chrysler redesigned the fastback with Italian styling by the same designer of the Avanti, as the lines flowed from front to rear and no longer sported the wrap around rear glass. It had wider rear interior and with cargo partition folded down could house a residential door with 7 feet of cargo space and enough width. With the rear seats upright, it could 3 or 2 comfortably. note, the Mustang was only a 2+2 configuration, and it;s fastback arrived in full year 1965. The Barracuda engine offerings in 1964 were the 170 slant six, the 225 slant six, and the 273 two barrel. "65 offered the same with the addition of the 273 4bbl Commando producing 235bhp. "66 dropped the 170, and pumped the 273 4bbl Commando to 275bhp. For that year only. Upon the redesign of "67 came the same engine lineup but dropping the 273 4 bbl Commando back down to 235bhp, and offered the 383 4bbl Commando. The 273 for "68 and introduced the other LA engine interation as the 318, but still keeping the 383 option and adding the 340 to the option list. This is an obvious car of importan history and I would love to see you showcase the 1967 Barracuda fastback, especially a Formula S, which also came about from 1965 through 1969.
If his demeanor said "rude" in the slightest, I might agree with you, but Dennis always has the best most jovial attitude you can imagine, so there's no way what he's saying at any point to these guys is coming off rude. Sounds like you probably think a lot of things are negative when they are most certainly not.
How does this not have way more likes. I think this is the best episode yet! I love this show. True car guys

What do you think about the T? I think it's well done but don't like it myself. That rear end kills it for me.

Nice to see your son

I just started the video. I had better see Dan Cummins in the background at some point. Hail Bojangles!
I love these videos but could you at least say "please" when you ask guys to open their hoods? It always comes up plain rude to me.
