While it does sound great for metal, when you think about it, a lot of early 50-60s twang was done on baris, Pat Metheny recorded two solo CDs on an acoustic baritone (A-A), many jazz players play in drop C (check out Tim Lerch's channel, or Kenny Poole's videos), and a lot of ambient music is done with baritones (or extended range). All clean tones... Great demo...
I played a Taylor 8 string baritone acoustic during the summer while over in Ottawa for work. Clearly a very different instrument but it was fabulous and the sound was like an orchestra. I really enjoyed playing it and would love a baritone now.
Great demo - great playing! I wonder if you noticed how the intonation was on the upper frets of the 6th string? Those can be problematic on many baris - particularly the Fender ones (and their offset models such as the bass VI) as the saddle can't be adjusted further away from the nut due to sub optimal bridge positioning. Thanks.
You are an amazing artist really i love England when i was kid im so glad ive found your channel in these days i love songs like hometown cry for help 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Schecter website actually says that is has 10-46 strings which I know is wrong haha!! I don't know the exact gauge but my guess is a 12 to something like maybe a 60?
The switch routings are. 1 Bridge in humbucker 2 Bridge and neck in single 3 Bridge and neck in humbucker 4 Neck humbucker in paralel 5 Neck humbucker in series I emailed the guys at Schecter, they sent me a diagram.

I have to disagree that nobody buys a baritone for the clean tones. I think the cleans are one of the best things about a baritone.

25,5 Yes please!! 🙏😊
This is probably what I was looking for when dreaming about a vintage looking really well made baritone ❤
Have you ever tried the PRS 277? IF so, how would this compare?

Love your enthusiasm for this guitar. Also love the tones and that bridge tone too. I’m seriously considering….
Never tried a baritone before, would love to try one out one day. Maybe use it to play Rabea's and Mark Lettieri's stuffs.

What strings does such a guitar use? 12s, is it?

Could be 10s, longer scale length provides more tension with lighter strings

Would immediately buy a 25.5" version of this
Me to! I’d love a regular scale version of this!
Everyone should have a baritone
I want one of your baritones!
@@LeighFugeGuitar yes you do 👍😁🤣
@@karllongbottomguitars9192I’ll give you £100 for one! 😂
@@LeighFugeGuitar , let me think about it and I'll get back to you 😂
“You’re probably not gonna play a lot of funk”
Fearless Flyers beg to differ
The beginning of your dirty tone demo sounds a bit like Pelican who play in B standard
I’ve never heard of them, but I will check them out!
🎶 bought myself a grey guitar🎶😄
And? Still enjoying? I am thinking of buying one atm ...
That guitar matches your hair (well some of it).
I think I'm more grey than the guitar!
@@LeighFugeGuitardon’t worry, I feel your pain and Im right there with ya. I’m 37 and just started to go gray all of the sudden lol.
@@usmcyounggun6879 one day you're young... then it hits you hah!
