You are right, but what I meant say was the 300 OR the CHARGER outsell the Genesis. I didn't mean to "add" their sales.

@321dude321 In Europe, cars you wouldn't think are considered real alternatives to an MB or BMW really are. The FORD Mondeo, to be the next Fusion in the US, is such a car, despite being FWD and costing much less. ALFA Romeo currently has NO RWD cars aside from the 8C. The 159 is taken the same way as the Mondeo. You also have the Skoda and others. In the US, the 300 is such a car and more likely alternative for the less asinine.

Let me put it like this. If I had no options at all, I'd buy one. But, the options are so much better. The Equus is definitely an awesome achievement but there is such an overwhelming feeling of cheapness and worse - plagiarism.

Regardless WHEN it was released, the Genesis will never see the 100,000+ sales the 300 saw in its first 2 years on market. Nobody with money wants a Genesis. It's for poor people who wish they had an S550 like mine.
@bigtruckseriesreview the only reason why the chrysler sold so many is because it was soo different than the norm and so is the charger the genesis is a little more quiet not as loud..but look at the sales of the 300 now...going nowhere. now if you compare to sonata than the sonata tramples because it sold 100,000 int he first year of being on the market. the genesis is a good car. i also have a 550 i definitely think it could have more than it does. the genesis has a bunch to offer

@bigtruckseriesreview and people bought those cars because they were different, not super expensive, and had a big enough wheel well to have a 26 inch wheel without the car being a foot and a half off the ground

@bigtruckseriesreview ok well by saying tht i will also add that they ahve been out a much longer time than genesis. your talking about a car tht has been out since 2005 fro 300 and 2006 fro charger....the Genesis has only been out for going on two years. you cant compare a car tht has been out for 5 and 6 years and try to one up a car tht has only been out for two
@bigtruckseriesreview umm im pretty sure there is not ive been in one and it felt very upscale. the only thing that seems a little cheap was when the door closed..that was it. everything else was great. teh exterior styling i agree is boring and blends in too much but the interior is different than the other. and yes it might look 'similar' but hell what cars look way diffrent from each other except hondas. they all have the same middle console design that just the norm, the base, the foundation

I make enough money to afford an S550 and an SRT8 300c.
If I was FUCKING WORKING POOR, then and only then would I be in a Hyundai.

Ok, then BUY ONE. at the end of the day, sales figures are everything. I own 2 CARS. an SRT8 and an S550. Therefore, I don't have to get into arguments with people who claim Audi is better - I merely sent my money to one company over the other.
I'll say it now: Hyundai will never get A DIME of my money. Just the opposite - I'm making money WRITING reviews about Hyundai's cars. My Sonata and Genesis review made me over $300 on Epinions.

@bigtruckseriesreview you cant compare two cars to one car...OF COURSE TWO CARS ARE GONNA SELL MORE!!! charger and 300 combined are going to sell more because well its two cars and two cars for two different markets making both of them be able to sell. now if you say 300 compared to genesis than thts a viable comparison and argument but two cars to one definitely is not fair or right to do to a car

REASONS are subjective. You have no idea why it sold so well because you did no research into the buyers. SALES FIGURES ARE OBJECTIVE. Chrysler 300 KILLS Genesis in sales and always will because NO ONE WANTS A HYUNDAI.

If "Genesis" was targeted it must have only been for the price because Genesis is a piece of shit. Take a look at its reliability ratings. The interior is SHIT.
