Your framed Autumn Quaker and Cross Stitch Nation turned out so beautiful and I love the frames you chose. It's sad to say goodbye to your Summer Montage and the rose stitched up so beautifully and looks amazing. Thank you for another great stitching update.
So glad that you can see your snowflakes!! I did a snowflake heavy stitch and you could see them when I was stitching but hanging up, they will be very hard to see. I was so sad, but the stitch was fun so there is that! I love the cold hands warm heart patterns. Such a great thing to stitch in the winter.
Absolutely gorgeous finish and framing on Autumn Quakers! Wowsers! Love the progress on your wips. ABCingo is such fun each October. Lots of wips and new starts get some love during the month. I like the October words for the acrostic. I usiallt self care during the Winter when it's cold. I like to snuggle up in a warm quilt and stitch the evenings away! As always, happy stitching. ❤
Hi Carolyn! Your FFOs of Autumn Quakers and Cross Stitch Nation are beautiful! Great progress on Summer Montage! I can't believe it's October already. Have a great week! Happy Stitching!
Hi Carolyn. Thank you for the update. I love your videos. Your autumn quakers piece is gorgeous! It's my favourite of the series. I'd choose one alphabet for my initials. If they're scattered randomly, I think it looks like family members or friends. Do what makes you smile when you look at the piece. ⚘️♥️
Oh I love all the Black Cat Series and look foward to you doing them all. The one with black Cat singing in the dead of night is really appealing to me and I will have to get that chart. I love doing charts with song lyrics or title in them they make me happy. You are a busy little bee! and have accomplished so much! What a inspiration!
Love your new framed pieces! How fun something new for the wall! Love being warm in a long cold winter. In your J H stitch I would do only one set of initials only because you still want the effect of the design. Don’t forget to do a z.. you have a lovely week!
Love your framed finishes! Sounds like you have some great stitching planned. I can’t wait for winter which is very mild here in Louisiana. Happy stitching!
“When we were young and not as tired.” The CACKLE that left my body. 😂😂😂 Framed pieces are spectacular. That red frame is everything for Cross Stitch Nation. Winter Quakers is getting so close! Love your plans. Didn’t see Haunted House in there though. 🤔 😂💗
I have only completed the Winter Quaker - autumn is my next one. Love your finished piece. Cold weather is my favourite. Warm is nice but not humidity.
Congrats on your beautiful finishes!! For you last one, you might look at a brown that is almost black which would go with your others but look better with the winter piece. Lots of fun coming up for you!
I’ve loved With the Needle 2 since it first came out. Now I love it even more seeing your progress. Your summer full coverage is looking fantastic. Haven’t quite completed my October so might add my Cardinal Cottage too.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Your Autumn Quaker is beautiful. Happy stitching! Don't love Winter because it is cold, I prefer warm weather.
What a great video!! You did so good on your board-blackout! Your framed Autumn Quaker was stunning! Congratulations! As well as your Cross Stitch Nation-that is going to look so good on your craft room wall! I looked up the Blooming Bouquets and they are all beautiful!! All six went on my wish list! I would only highlight my initials once on a piece, not in every alphabet. Happy stitching! Hugs!❤
Oh yes, watching GaRon's updates are dangerous. I have fabric in my cart and am figuring out what needs to travel with it. I love the warm weather we are still having. But know I have to prepare for the cold winter coming. Getting all those stitchy supplies ready. Have a great week.
I think a soft white or cream color frame on Winter Quakers would make the snow flakes pop. We had 90 degrees here in Minneapolis just a few days ago. It’s crazy!! Love your two FFOs. The framing really shows off those pieces.
Yes I was thinking about cream too - it’s always telling when you put the frame up next to the piece! Tell Minneapolis that it’s FALL!!! (We’re supposed to be 85 here this weekend)
I love your FFOs! Fabulous. As for the alphabet and initials, i like the idea of your initials all in one line more because they’re all in a row instead of all mixed up. Either way, I like your signature color.
Love your FFOs. It was rather cold here this week, down to high 50's. Hope it is warm at stitch west. I am not ready for winter and it snowed there last October.
Fabulous FFO's🎉. So sad Summer Montage is going to bed😔. I love how you are so organised (I know i say it all the time). Have a good week. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
Autumn Quakers is breathtaking - it's a life goal for me. How wide is your border? As for the sampler and your initials, I would wait until you get farther along and then decide where to highlight them.
I use a 3" border when I stitch but then when it comes to framing I usually ask for a 1" or 1.5" border - especially when the fabric is so special and beautiful!
Such beautiful framed pieces and wonderful progress, as always! You might try Pony Black needles for the single-strand silk piece. I just started using them and the nickel-free coating seems to hold on to threads better; I have to remind myself to move the needle to a different section every so often. Enjoy your October stitching! 🪡
Autumn Quaker is stunning! How wonderdul is it going to be when you just chnage them out each season and enjoy the "fruits of your labor". Love it. Cross Stitch Nation is lovely. That frame matches perfectly. Since you like kitties, Soda Stitch has an adorable stitching pattern and Madame Chantilly has a tier tray stitching them pattern , too. I qm planning on stitching them both as they are very different styles, not as prim. Soda Stitch isn't really your style, but would be fun. Lol. Oh and Tellin Emblem's piece fraom last year. You are such an expert you have probably seen all of these.....Your rose on Summer Montage is so pretty. I think you are the farthest along of all the people on flosstube that I have seen. Yay.
Thank you, my friend, and yes I'm so excited to be able to switch out the Quaker pieces and just enjoy! I have seen the Madame Chantilly tiered tray piece, but will have to look for the Soda Stitch one! Thank you for your help (ahem...enabling!!).
Hi. I have asked to see a close up of the Winter Quaker before, I'm still working on all the snowflakes, and using 3 strands. I will ask again to see or if you can share how did you complete - the motif that is located between section 2 and section 5, did you use one straight long stitch? I have not put that stitch in place...I'd like to finish Winter Quaker this year. These snowflakes are not joke. Thank you for sharing. Love ,warm heart, winter brings cold hands, fix a hot tea or coffee. Happy Stitching.
Yes I will show that spot in next week's video. I used 4 "smaller" straight stitches in that motif, but will need to go through and "tack" them down before I send to the framer's because they can get distorted.
I think your initials in the sampler stitched once would be beautiful, it might be to busy and interfere with the beautiful sampler itself. All of your Quakers are gorgeous, and the summer montage rose is stunning.
Oh this is a great point - and I agree, more and more I'm leaning toward one row for the initials, maybe picking my favorite font on the chart and doing it that way. Thank you!!
Can anybody from anywhere join the zoom calls? I do not look forward to long, cold winter nights but I do love to warm up with a hot chocolate. I forgot to tell you what a great mug you had in the last video. Super great progress on summer montage.
Hi Carolyn I Love Cooler Weather but I also like it a little bit Warmer during the Winter Time. Love all of your WIPS - making great progress on them. Right now I am just Focusing on two Projects - Alphabet Soup by The Design Connection and HAED Once Upon A Fairytale. Alphabet Soup is my oldest project I have to my name. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵☕️❤️
Hi Carolyn, great video mmm I want to start the black cat also but need fabric still. Wondering about Winter Montage. If you will stitch on that during winter?. Take care. Have you ever used CXC thread on full coverage ?. Bye
Hi! That colour looks great on you! Oh wow autumn quaker is beautiful! Hey 😉😉it’s not ready for my thanksgiving oct 10th get cracking! 😅 wow lots of progress, the rose is great. I appreciate that you are doing all those little snowflakes cos I would be leaving the tiny ones off! Lol😂. Love my warm heart but have cold hands. Of course I made it this far, although sometimes I have to come back in the morning but lol I stayed up just for you! Lol. Night. Happy stitching.🪡
Summer Montage is still my favourite. Who is it from. Too bad I won’t be able to see it til next year I did that Winter Quaker, I hated all those annoying snowflakes, but it was a lovely stitch.
Hello sweet and wonderful friend! I had to LOL at your complaining about it going possibly back up to 80 because on Thursday we are supposed to finally be only a high of 80 for a couple days at least and I am so, so, so looking forward to it. You could almost feel a hint of coolness in the breeze today, although standing out in the sunlight while Walter was playing on the playground in my Detroit Tigers navy blue T-shirt was a bit warm. Had to wear it though since it was the last game of the season (boo hoo hoo) and also Miguel Cabrera retired from playing baseball today. He accomplished so many milestones while playing for my Tigers. Congrats again getting your 2 pieces framed. Blooming Bouquets looks really good with the 1 strand of thread. It is going to be beautiful. I like using only 1 thread on 20 count so am contemplating trying a smaller full coverage with 1 thread on 20 count if I can find the right pattern. Wow, great progress on Thanksgiving Fairy. She looks so good. I really like the blue with the purple alphabet personally and would consider doing all 3 initials in that alphabet. You made really great progress on Summer Montage and the rose is looking fabulous. Love the stats on that piece. I love the way you are doing the snowflakes on Winter Quakers. Your needle really was on fire since last week! Fabulous progress on With the Needle II. For some reason that top scenery reminds me of a By the Bay piece. (I had already completed that sentence when you said it in the video LOL!) Man oh man, I do wish that elephant that lives upstairs would quit running back and forth, and let me listen to the ballgame, floss tube, and stitch in silence!! Ooooo, so excited that you are starting Black Cat Seasons in October! I really like that pattern but am still trying hard to not buy patterns, although Becca is seriously tempting me with her winter designs, especially the Hanukkah word play. Yay, so happy Cardinal Cottage is coming out to play . Nice for you to work for a few days on your next HRH piece. Maybe you just need to try to plan on working on your HRH pieces 1 or 2 days a month to make some small forward progress but not so intense that you come to hate the pieces. I have pretty much done that with Rocky Point, 1 color completion like every other month or so, so there is forward progress on it. I have kind of lost my stitchy bug for the last couple months. Think I am just so tired that I lose interest in it really quickly or get distracted by anything else plus I don't usually get much stitching in on Tuesday or Wednesday unless I cannot sleep and the same with Saturday. I really want to get my birds of the month done for 2024 use though. I also really want to start a bunch of my kits in 2024 so that all money isn't wasted that I spent on the kits I liked so well. Love and hugs to you, Jack, and Simon. Happy stitching.
Hello my sweet friend! So sorry to hear that your player is retiring from baseball, but also, good for him!! I love your idea of just working on the HRH pieces a little at a time. Some is better than none, right? I have also been thinking about starting some more kits or kitted projects - I hade a drawer full!! And they are bulky! I just watched a Flosstube of someone who is starting kits next year - my mind is blanking on who that is but will let you know when I think of it. Sending you and Walter and the boys love!!
Love all your finish pieces. Love....Cold...Warm....Winter
Warm or cold, I love winter. Snuggling under a blanket and stitching. Have a great week!!
I am loving winter quakers. Love, cold, warm, winter.
The warm weather is going away, and the cold winter I love is on its way...just no ice please.....thanks for sharing and please take care
Wow Carolyn! You got a lot done! And you autumn Quaker is beautiful! And boy oh boy are you so good at following your plans! Love it! Happy stitching!
I love a good plan!
Your framed Autumn Quaker and Cross Stitch Nation turned out so beautiful and I love the frames you chose. It's sad to say goodbye to your Summer Montage and the rose stitched up so beautifully and looks amazing. Thank you for another great stitching update.
Love, cold, warm, and winter love all of them

Ha! I love a good plan - it keeps me focused!
Love cold winter warm. They are all so amazing
Fall is my favorite time of year. I loved the autumn Quaker piece you showed.
Yes I’m loving how the snowflakes are turning out!!
Everything you do is gorgeous. I love a warm drink on a cold day.
I like the way your doing the initials on the sampler. Wow the quakers are beautiful. Winter Cold Warm

Your finished pieces are gorgeous! I love winter, cold not warm. Happy Stitching! ❤️🪡
Absolutely gorgeous finish and framing on Autumn Quakers! Wowsers! Love the progress on your wips. ABCingo is such fun each October. Lots of wips and new starts get some love during the month. Thank you so much my friend! And I agree with your self-care - how perfect is that? I need to make myself a quilt JUST for snuggling up in!!
BRAVO on Autumn Quakers - stunning!
Thank you so much!!
Hi Carolyn! Your FFOs of Autumn Quakers and Cross Stitch Nation are beautiful! Great progress on Summer Montage! I can't believe it's October already. Have a great week! Happy Stitching!
Love hearing about your plans, it is so motivating! Great video....
Hi Carolyn. Thank you for the update. I love your videos.

Great catching up with you again. Love your framed Quakers. Happy stitching Patty Winter
Cold warm love winter. I love the summer montage piece.

Great finished framed pieces. Also I love your rose! I didn’t realize it would be so big.
Love, cold, warm, winter. Just got my studs put on my car so I’m ready.
I am at a quilt retreat and did not want to miss your UA-cam. So I watched it on my phone while I sewed. Winter
You are too sweet my friend! Thank you so much for always being so supportive!
I love winter the cold & a little warm
Great video, love, cold, warm, winter,
I am ready for WARM weather to be over. I LOVE COLD WINTER weather.
Love your new framed pieces! How fun something new for the wall! Love being warm in a long cold winter. In your J H stitch I would do only one set of initials only because you still want the effect of the design. Don’t forget to do a z.. you have a lovely week!
Thank you, my friend! And yes, more and more I think I'm going to do just one row of initials for the Jan Hicks piece. Thank you for your advice!!
Love Autumn Quaker. You did do a lot of stitching last week. Winter
I love your Autumn Quaker. It is beautiful and the frame is perfect. I suggest stitching your initials once in a color you love. Love Cold Warm Winter
Hi Carolyn ❤

I love all of your Rosewood Manor Quakers. I must stitch them! Winter
They are fantastic stitches!

Your Autumn Quaker is gorgeous. You might consider a cherry frame for the winter Quaker.
Have acgood week
Oh a cherry frame! That’s an interesting idea!
I have watched you from the very beginning and love every project you do. I would love to stitch Winter.
You are a gem!! Thank you so much for being here through it all! I appreciate you!
I love winter, but yes it can be aggravating trying to keep warm in the cold!!
3 framed finishes is amazing and they look fantastic!
Thank you!
Your Autumn Quaker is beautiful.
I love your flosstube great progress as always it inspires me to get organised 😊.Winter love warm cold
Love your framed finishes! Sounds like you have some great stitching planned. I can’t wait for winter which is very mild here in Louisiana. Happy stitching!
I was good to see you again! Congratulations on your FFO's 😍.

Hi Carolyn nice progress on your montage. Your framed Quaker is so beautiful. Great plans for October. Love cold warm winter
Thank you! 😃
“When we were young and not as tired.” The CACKLE that left my body. 😂😂😂
Framed pieces are spectacular. That red frame is everything for Cross Stitch Nation. Winter Quakers is getting so close!
Love your plans. Didn’t see Haunted House in there though. 🤔 😂💗
HA! YOU, my lady, are SUCH an enabler!!! (don't stop!!!)
I have only completed the Winter Quaker - autumn is my next one.
Love your finished piece.
Cold weather is my favourite. Warm is nice but not humidity.
Aren't the quakers so lovely to stitch? I don't like the humidity either - can hardly breathe in it!
Autumn Quaker looks awesome. 🙂 I've seen several people stitch Cross-Stitch Nation. It looks nice.
Your ffo is beautiful! I Love a Warm fire on a Cold Winter night.
Congrats on your beautiful finishes!! For you last one, you might look at a brown that is almost black which would go with your others but look better with the winter piece. Lots of fun coming up for you!
A black-brown frame is exactly what I was thinking! Thank you!
Great video. Love the warm not the cold winter lol
Autumn quaker looks amazing. You have made me want to work on mine😊.
Wonderful! It's a joy to stitch on!
I’ve loved With the Needle 2 since it first came out. Now I love it even more seeing your progress. Your summer full coverage is looking fantastic. Haven’t quite completed my October so might add my Cardinal Cottage too.
Thank you my friend! It’s a chart I don’t see too many people working on so that’s fun!
So ready for winter. I just gets so cold! Great video!
Oh yes, watching GaRon's updates are dangerous. I have fabric in my cart and am figuring out what needs to travel with it. I love the warm weather we are still having. But know I have to prepare for the cold winter coming. Getting all those stitchy supplies ready. Have a great week.
They are sooooo dangerous!!
Amazing quakers 🎉❤. I am stitching Spring Quaker currently!
Winter Quaker is on my list to start as well!
It's a lovely stitch! I hope you enjoy!!
Your framed pieces look so good!
I love your FFOs! Fabulous. As for the alphabet and initials, i like the idea of your initials all in one line more because they’re all in a row instead of all mixed up. Either way, I like your signature color.
Thank you for your feedback - I agree after seeing the initials across multiple lines that I think I’ll like it better all on one line.
That’s funny that the word is love as that’s my last name! Can’t wait for it to get cold this winter so we can wear warm sweaters.
I love your framed pieces! Congrats 🎉!!
I don’t love winter 🥶 ❄️, but I don’t mind stitching it 😊. ♥️ Kim from Canada 🇨🇦
I like having your initials all in one alphabet. I like the one you chose for “C”. Very nice work.
Thank you! More and more that is also what I am thinking - all in one alphabet.
Love your FFOs. It was rather cold here this week, down to high 50's. Hope it is warm at stitch west. I am not ready for winter and it snowed there last October.
Ohhhh I love a high in the 50s!! Dream weather! Enjoy Stitch West - I'm bummed I cannot make it.
Fabulous FFO's🎉. So sad Summer Montage is going to bed😔. I love how you are so organised (I know i say it all the time). Have a good week. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
Ahhhh thank you sweet friend! I love to plan and organize - it's another hobby of mine!
That is gorgeous
Your finishes are beautiful. Have you included stitching shelves in next years plans? Thank you for sharing your stitching. Happy stitching
Yes! I have included Stitching Shelves for next year - we'll see it in rotation the first three months of 2024!
Autumn Quakers is breathtaking - it's a life goal for me. How wide is your border? As for the sampler and your initials, I would wait until you get farther along and then decide where to highlight them.

Hello sweet and wonderful friend! I had to LOL at your complaining about it going possibly back up to 80 because on Thursday we are supposed to finally be only a high of 80 for a couple days at least and I am so, so, so looking forward to it. I think if you do more than one set of initials it would take away from the pattern itself. Just an opinion. 💜
I agree with you and think this is a great point! Thank you!

Love the long video and all the October plans. I need to see when 24 hour of cross stitch is. I've missed it this year.
Oct 20-22!
