Great presentation man...GH5 is more than enough for any medium project, it is all about the guy behind the camera ...like in formula 1 same cars specs. but only the best driver wins!!
Thanks man! It's one camera that I would always recommend because it really gets the job done. And honestly I probably haven't even pushed it close to what it's truly capable of yet.
In 2020 my niece asked if I would take some photos of her Ladies Football (soccer) team playing a match. Sure, I can do that . . . . Cue panicked research on UA-cam. I then rocked up with my GH5 (with the Lumix 35-100 mk1) on a monopod and my G9 (with the lumix 12-35) on a neck strap. Also I bought a fold out stool (for the low angle and also comfort). I used AFC and back button focusing and it was a major success.
@@ChrisHagan I had a follow up gig which involved Video: Rokinon 85mm T1.5 (plus viltrox EmF2 ii) on the GH5 on Sticks and Video Head with the G9 and Sigma 16mm on a travel tripod pointed at the penalty area!
Yeah that autofocus of the GH5 is just too much of a bummer. Especially in 2021, it’s just not acceptable anymore. Too many better options out there now.
Currently have a gh3. It was my first camera looking to get a gh5 for my son's soccer games in 4k. Appreciate showing the sports motion video.

Great breakdown, I've had my GH5 for 2 years and it will still be my second camera once the GH6 comes out.

Good to hear! The GH5 is super versatile. I've had no complaints with photos, and it's held up in a lot of different outdoor settings.
