In today's video, I'm climbing a winter route in high winds, crawling through bushes, baking pizza, and camping in -12°C.

If you posted your mailing address, maybe everyone with unused highend gear( like expensive sleeping bags) would mail you them. But we are a bit addicted to owning the gear we seldom use.I sometimes find security in the fact that I would be the most glamped-out van-lifer, if ever I had to move out of my apartment.Even have the mini-generators for sewing machines, to make my flying machines. Changes to definition of "vantastic-voyage",yeah I'll stick to working-class stiff.Ha no just kidding, love delivery cargo biking, I'm almost fit as I've ever been.Stay happy, and thanks for the straight-lining descent, that was even exiting as cinematography gets! Man not even gonna mention the sick-cruxes! U-rock!

Great vid, a good way to reduce the wetness of things is to let the condensation freeze and then brush it off. Sometimes I leave socks outside my bag, and then brush off and you get dry socks again.

I have thought of that before, but never actually tried it.
Wouldn’t that just work if there’s some condensation on the outside of the fabric?… because usually if I leave my wet socks in the cold they become hard as a rock.

You should! But not this winter, because there’s not much of a winter this year haha.

I made a DIY mount that is fixed to my ice axe with some sort of super strong wateproof glue and zip ties for backup.
I will include a short review of this exact mount in one of my future videos 🙌

Well I don’t know if I completely agree. Avalanches can easily be avoided most of the times, but you never know when a spider will jump into your face. And if that happens I’m jumping off a cliff right then and there haha.

Well that totally depends which pants I’m using.
If I’m using goretex pants with crampons then no (because crampons tighten the pants around my boots, so no snow can get in).
but if I’m not using crampons or in the spring time when it gets warmer I use thinner (non goretex) pants, then I will definitely use gaiters.

Yep another wonderful video, and fascinating pizza making demonstration! Looked very tasty. I did worry about the gas stove having no supporting base to stop it overbalancing but all was ok. With the pizzas I was definitely learning along the go, but for my first time I think they worked out pretty nice 😅.
It would be nice to have a warmer sleeping bag, but I think my current one still gets the job decently done, so I don’t feel like buying a new one just yet :)

You should consider cooking in a tent in front of audience as a theme. It’s hilarious . At least you’ve had something hot in your belly. That’s fuel for your adventure.
Also It’s considerably warmer in your sleeping bag with a warmer insulation underneath. The most warmth gets out of your body via conduction to the ground. I’d spend more money on a warmer pad than a warmer sleeping bag .- for now.

Yeah it’s quite easy to fall into the trap of laziness, because that self comforting voice is always louder than the one that tells you to do the uncomfortable.
That’s why it’s important we remind and encourage each other to keep pushing 🙌
Be careful using your stove in the tent. If there is no wind to provide airflow the carbon monoxide will collect in the tent. A few climbers on Everest have died this way!

I could feel a cold breeze blowing through the door the whole time I was cooking, so I don’t think there was much of a hazard :)
Can I ask you what are your shoes ? Are these the scarpa ribelle ? I have to buy some new shoes and I don’t know what to decide between these and the la sportiva nepal extreme
I’m using Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro… but I wouldn’t recommend them, because they’re outdated.
