- Join me on a two-day solo skiing journey through the mountains.
I traveled 22km through deep snow, heavy winds, and I had to dig out a snow cave to survive the snowstorm.

A really positive young lad doing what he loves and telling the world in a language that is not his own. Nice low-key presentation. Makes me wish I was 22 again.
I couldn't agree more with you and I was just pampering this young lad by calling little lad for him bringing joy to our hearts with this amazing work .
Thank you very much! 🙏
I really appreciate the kind words 😊
Being 22 was the best.
Definitivno underrated channel
Hvalaa! 😊
Potpisivam ✍️✍️✍️
thanks for blessing us with these videos!! Buona fortuna per l’italiano!
grazie, lo apprezzo davvero! 🙏
p.s. I had to google a few words, I’m not that fluent yet 😅
I watch your videos with my young daughters (6&8), and they laughed hysterically when you collapsed your snow cave 😂
Hahah I’m happy to hear that 😀 that moment really brought out the inner child in me 🤣
Thanks for another adventure. Your winter weather skills are expert level and your skiing ability off piste weaving among the trees at high speed is amazing. That snow cave was a work of art.
Thank you for the kind words! 🙏
I wish you a wonderful day 😊
My favourite youtuber uploaded the video!
Much appreciated! 🙏🥹
Very interesting.👍👌🤗

As always, another great video ! Thanks for the inspiration! love your content man
Thank you for the kind words brother!
Greetings from Slovenia ❤️
your videos are getting better and better, great stuff
Thank you, much appreciated 😊
A snow saw makes it much easier to build a cave. You can cut blocks and carry/shovel them out. Saves energy and time... Exped makes a nice one.
Pozdrav
Yeah, it would probably be very helpful, but I always try to make my gear minimalistic, so for now I think I’m just gonna stick to raw man power 🤣🤣
Lep pozdrav tudi tebi!
Beautiful hike my friend! Views are just amazing!
Thank you brother! 😊
Nice and toasty! Love it.
🙌😀
još jedan zakon video! Respekt! :D pozz iz HR! 💪

I watch your videos now almost every day since i find your channel, and iam amazed :) i was last autumn in Slovenia, Bohinj area planed to summit some mountains but there was a flood, and it was imposible bc of some wild river lost its trace. (So we cheat and take cable car to Vogel :D) Ill be happy to visit your country again, till then, i can watch it in your videos :). Good luck with all adventures and stay safe ❤️ (ps: hope you one day visit our mountains in Slovakia)
Thank you very much brother! 🙏
Ohh, I’m sorry to hear about the floods, but luckily you were still able to make the most of it 😊
Yeah, I’ve been wanting to visit Tatras for a long time now, but never found the opportunity. Hopefully sometime in the near future, but finances are currently not in my favour haha.
Kind regards ❤️
Dude... That is a super rad trip.🤙🤙
Thank you!
I had a ton of fun 😀
Love your videos, they inspire me. Where do you get the knowledge of how to survive in the winter outside?
Thank you!
I learned most of my mountaineering knowledge in alpine school courses.
And all of the shelter building stuff I learned by myself… I grew up in the countryside, so we were always building shelters in the woods as kids.
props for bravery but its clever to team up like in diving, have a good signal🔥
Thank you! :)
This channel is so underrated!
Much appreciated 😊
Našel tale kanal včeraj. Noro tole. Vsa čast! :)
Hvalaa! 😊
spet nekaj fajnega za pogledat...respekt
Hvala! 🙌😊
Beautiful mate! I live in northern Italy and I see you're from Slovenia, I might have to come and check you country out, I've never been there!
Thank you fellow neighbour!
Yeah, you should definitely visit sometime 😊🙌
Vrhunski video!
Hvalaa! 😊
You really need a saw for cutting into snow, makes it much easier to dig a snow cave. Nice video bud!
That would be a smart investment! Although the snow was pretty soft this time, so it wouldn’t make much of a difference.
And I also didn’t have any more space in my pack… not even for one more chocolate bar 🤣
Missing the big amounts of snow. Slowly it's getting less and less over the years. At my place there was not even two days of snow this year :(
Glad to have your video ^^
Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a poor winter in my lifetime :( Well at least not that I remember it.
But anyway, I’m still happy with the tours I managed to do 😊 let’s just hope for a few more weeks of snow before we switch to the summer season 😀
@@andrazegart Looking forward to some more snow adventures of you!
Caught in a Snowstorm? Where was the snowstorm?
Odlican video, svaka cast :)
Hvala! 😊
sono contento che tu stia imparando l'italiano, continua così!! ciao 😉
grazie, lo farò 🙏😊
How do the batteries last in the cold? Many powerbanks? :D
For my gopro I’m using the enduro batteries, so they last quite a bit actually…
I have 3 of those and I only had to charge one battery once, and also my phone for about 50%
Somebody has been watching Outdoor Boys again :)
My favourite youtuber right now 🙌
Tm takle mi pa na Mojstrovki 😅. Krasen video za pogledat!
Upam da ste uzival 😀
Hvala! 🙌
Sweet turns and good training. On sleeping inside the blanket, was it good? It gets wet very fast imo.
Oof I slept like a baby. It was nice and warm the whole night 😊
It did get a bit wet on the outside of the sleeping bag, but the inside was completely dry.
bros steezy on the skis too
🙏🤣
I think a small drone like DJ Mavic Mini Pro 4 would be great to show your adventures. Could follow you or circle around the mountain top once you are there. Think about it.
I’m sorry, but that’s not how I want to create my videos.
I want to show my journeys from the perspective I see with my own eyes, and the drone doesn’t really do that.
What is the purpose of knocking down the snow shelter? Just for fun? Loved the video!
Yup, basically that’s the highlight of the trip 🤣 brings out the inner child in me haha.
Thank you!
How many time did you practice doing snow cave before u trusted sleeping In it... I'd want to try at least twice so I knew how long it takes and when in the day to start. It
I grew up in a mountain village, and we’ve always had a lot of snow in the winter, so I’ve built dozens of snow caves in my childhood.
So I didn’t really need any practice when I started sleeping in them in the mountains :)
specialc haha uzitek gledat med sihtom
Hahah hvala! 🙌
Upam da me nau tvoj sef zasovrazu 🤣

I saw that putting a survival blanket over your sleeping bag creates a lot of humidity, it is true ?
Yup, very true. But as long as you’re only sleeping for one night it’s not a problem, because the inside of the sleeping bag stays dry.
@@andrazegart thanks you, continue your videos they are amazing !
:)
@@AlexandreCrz31 thank you!

Vidim da si kupil nove pancarje. Kako so ti všeč K2? Jih tudi jaz gledam..

Can't imagine the pain from wearing skiboots for such a long time...
Yeah, I was wearing new ski boots for the first time, so my feet were definitely a bit blistered 😅
The relief od putting them off at the end is just something else haha.
hahaha 23:00

Training for Patagonia or what?
Maybe one day!
You can just por the water in to the bag than you don’t clean as much
I don’t think that would work. These are not the MRE kind od packs… they take at least 10min to cook in boiling water.
Hi! I Very much appreciate your channel and your mountain activity. If you really want to learn Italian I can offer you free lessons and conversation in exchange of alpinism and climbing lessons and counseling.
Lorenzo de Virgiliis
I recommend you at least bring a dog with you to keep you company.
Most of the times I’m climbing in the mountains, so he wouldn’t be able to follow me around :)
It is so stupid diging a snow hole almost in direct proximity of a major road. Patetic!
What road?
Ciao io sono di Milano ! Piacere !
Ciao, adoro il tuo paese! 😀
Pure joy watching this one, such a fun and very hardworking adventure🤩 i don't even want to think about how many times you had to go back to grab the camera to give us the experience😆 and the snow cave - a masterpiece🧊
I don’t think I’ve ever had to go back to pick up the camera so many times in one video 😅🤣.
Thank you for all the support! 🙏😊
instead of lifting your legs while ski touring try to slide the skiis thats the correct techique
The correct technique is to move your legs naturally with minimal effort.
And I think sometimes it’s more natural to lift the front of your ski a bit and glide the rest.
Otherwise you’re just forcing yourself down into the ground, with weird movement and creating unnecesary friction.
At least that’s my opinion on the matter.
It all depends on the terrain of course.
Sometimes it’s easier to glide with your whole ski, but I feel like most of the times it’s not.
This video realy gives outdor boys wube just much yunger and with your twist
I love watching outdoor boys as well, so I really appreciate it! 🙏
Well this just made my morning better
This comment just made my day better :)
What a great and interesting video!!!Congrats bro!!! Greetings from Spain!
Thank you brother!
Kind regards from Slovenia ❤️
Greetings from Algeria , little lad and thank you so much for the beautiful scenery that you showed us .
Keep up this good work and best of luck ❤
Thank you for the kind message!
Kind regards from Slovenia ❤️
Damn! That must have been exhausting. From all the climbing to ski down the mountain and to dig an entire cave alone. But not bad for an adventure. You do say that you are aware of the dangers of skiing alone at the end of the video. So I hope you are also carrying a an emergency radio just in case. Hopefully, you will never have to use it. Stay safe man. Thanks for the great content as usual.
It’s safe to say I slept like a baby that night 😅.
Thanks mate, I wish you a wonderful day! 🙌😊
Also my favorit out doors video channel on You tube. Nice to join your adventures. Beautiful made and with humor.
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words 🙏😊
this is great for introverts
6:12 Next time, please have camera position higher to show more forward. Would be more interesting for the viewer like me.
Yeah, you’re absolutely right… Haven’t skied much this year, so I lost the felling for camera positioning, because it’s a bit different than on my climbing helmet.
Always enjoy your trips. You have a beautiful playground! Stay safe.
Thank you! We sure do have beautiful mountains ❤️
Ce bi to nalozo v ameriki bi mel zdaj 20.mio ogledov 😀
Haha, ja definitvno je neprimerljivo tezje zaceti anglesko govoreci kanal v EU kakor v US 😅
Seems good so far. Love the skiing.
Thank you very much! 😊
Youu should get smaller drone (dji mini 3/4 250g). Shots from these peaks wold be unbelievable!
Thank you, but that’s not the way I want to create my videos.
The more filming equipment you have, the less authentic it gets… because you spend more time dealing with all the equipment rather than just enjoying the journey and showing it through my eyes from the view that I can actually see.
But that’s just my own opinion :)
@@andrazegart You are right. I use it as an angle when I climb a peak or reach a bivouac. :)
sappi che hai un italiano che ti segue :) I would like to know how to speak Slovenian too, great video mate!
Grazie mille 😊
Kind regards fellow neighbour 🙌

Thank you for sharing!
Which country are you from?
@@andrazegart Basque Country. Nice mountaineers come from here: Juanito Oiarzabal, Alberto and Felix Iñurrategi, Iñaki Ochoa de Olza, Edurne Pasaban, Pou brothers, Alberto Zerain, and the list goes on...
@@errzikillo Ohh nice. Never heard of that country before. Will look it up :)

Another amzing video!!! Keep them going!!!!
Thank you my friend! 🙏
Amazing! Real freedom. I like to watch it so I don't have to go ;D
Thank you!
I’m glad I can make that happen for you 🙏😊
I am curious if your area has an avalanche center that issues reports? or if you must gather this information by yourself? Either way, stay safe, have fun, and keep the uploads coming! It is so cool seeing your channel continue to grow -- congratulations!
Thank you very much brother!
Yeah, we do have an avalanche center with active reports, which is super nice and very helpful.
But of course it’s not always precise, because you just cannot predict the situation for every mountain.
So when I’m out there I assess the situation according to my own judgement.
Nice! Makes sense. That could be a cool thing to include in your videos! Just a little insight into the snow and what your thoughts are about why you think it is safe/not safe! Keep up the good work brother@@andrazegart
@@colter779 You’re right! I’m gonna try to talk more about that in my future videos!

Another awesome video!
Thank you!! 😀
Fav UA-camr rn 🔥
Thank you, that truly means a lot! ❤️
What mountain is this?
The first day I summited Debeli vrh (pokljuka) and Mrežce.
I then slept just below Brda, and the following morning I skied from the saddle of Brda.
Yep another brilliant trip for us to share as always. I wish you'd left the young tree alone though, maybe kept it as a feature. Take great care on these trips mate.
Thank you very much! 🙏
No worries about the tree. It was just a mountain pine bush, and the area is already overgrown with them, so it does more benefit than harm, because the animals have a hard time moving through them :)
Ah that's fine, as you say the place is not short of pine bushes !
❤❤❤
