From the DVD "Sake bombs and happy endings" which I still have somewhere... might have to dig it out! Saw them on the UK leg of this tour. One of my first proper rock gigs ever! Blew me away with sheer awesomeness!
I would consider them pop punk with metal influences. Sum 41 has a lot of varying tracks with different sounds. Songs like Fat Lip & In Too Deep are definitely on the pop punk scale but there are a lot of tracks like Pain for Pleasure or tracks from Chuck or especially Order In Decline that have more of a metal influence.
