Absolutely. I’ve seen comments about how amazing other collabs with The Hu would be, but most would be too similar…like Rammstein. The contrast is what makes it so amazing…it’s what makes it so powerful.

@@kennylaysh2776 Haha enjoy yourself in that. 👍 But I say, “Put it down and step back from the hate.” Unfortunately for you, Papa Roach has been one of the biggest, most successful, most loved rock bands out there over the last 10 years. New music every year and a half or so, including #1’s on the rock charts & streaming platforms, plus packed show after show on relentless touring & festival schedules. Most people who don’t like or know them usually end up leaving their live shows as fans. There’s a reason everyone wants to tour with them and do collabs with them…their audience isn’t just people who were teens or older in the late 90’s early 2000’s. It’s full of young, new generation rock fans too. Hate ‘em all you want, but this new music of theirs about to drop (2 songs already pre-released) looks to be pretty damn good once again.
Folk metal in general can be really fucking dope. Each culture goes and puts their own vibe to it so you can listen to it from all sorts of places but it's got a very different sound to it.
I've been listening to world music for years and years, along with regular rock, metal, etc, and I can't tell you how happy these mashups and genre fusions make me.
it's the biggest thing I respect about shaddix, he Dosen't try to steal the lime light, knows it's a focus on The Hu and genuinely has an awesome time with the group, so you gotta respect him for that.
The lyrics of this song were written 400 years ago by Mongolian prince Tsogt and engraved on the rock. Prince Tsogt is the 19th descendant of Genghis Khan.

I just love that so many native English metal singers made this band accessible to people who may never have listened to the incredible music they make
And thanks to Temuljin, Genghis Khan who advised his scribers to make Mongolian scripts when he was alive which made it possible for us to learn Mongolian language.
@@clapatussy i guess some who growls or scream would have been a better feature, becausethe "badass" sound of the mongolian singing makes that american 40 year old teenage boy just look out of place and thats how it sounds to me aswell. Tomi Joutsen from Amorphis, or someone like Johan Hegg would have been more fitting. At least they get some more fame because of jacoby (even tho their original wolf song has made 32 million views within one year without any hype from outside of "the hu" at all)
I think they thought it would go over better in the west if they had some English lyrics included. Of course, I can't speak German but love Rammstein, so 🤷♂️
Part of what makes it unique is that they don't do it in English because then they would sound just like everybody else. A lot of people need to learn to appreciate performers and bands that are not strictly white, Western, and only sing in English and to value them just as much without having to make everyone in order to be successful have to do it all in only English because that is not the be all end all and a lot of people in this world do not all speak English nor should they have to just to appreciate music or the people who play, sing, and perform it no matter what their ethnicity and language are.

If lions come, we'll fight until the end

If elephants come, we'll fight in rage
If humans come, we'll fight and obliterate
We, if lions come, we'll fight until the end

If you come as a flood, we'll fight you until death
If you come swarming, we'll scatter you around
If you come flying, we'll shoot you down with our archeries

Unfortunately for you, Papa Roach has been one of the biggest, most successful, most loved rock bands out there over the last 10 years.

@@clapatussy i guess some who growls or scream would have been a better feature, becausethe "badass" sound of the mongolian singing makes that american 40 year old teenage boy just look out of place and thats how it sounds to me aswell. At least they get some more fame because of jacoby (even tho their original wolf song has made 32 million views within one year without any hype from outside of "the hu" at all)
The original version is already perfect. But this works good as well. Anything that will boost Hu is okay
I think they thought it would go over better in the west if they had some English lyrics included.
Of course, I can't speak German but love Rammstein, so 🤷♂️
I agree, everyone listen to the original please, it will rock you inside your ribs.
