The originals always seem to be the best. However, Jacoby does a great job and is actually very well in sync with The Hu in this video. Which also happens to be from the movie The Retaliators, which he also plays in. That is why you see an American flag and not a Mongolian flag. The area is in a scene from the movie. This song is also on the soundtrack for the movie as well. I personally think it's amazing to see different people from different areas of the world coming together in a positive way.

As good as all the remixes are I do prefer the originals, but, don't let that be a reflection, the remixes/collabs have much merit, it was through this song and 'I am Mongol.' With William DuVall that introduced me to The Hu, so thank you William and Jacoby, I owe you.

I am 48 years old, and this is on my work out play list. This song gets me so pumped up on my heavy days! Sometimes, I forget the time, and I play this on repeat, and two hours fly by and I end up sore for three days. What an awesome tune!!! I first heard it in my car after I just bought it coming home from the dealer in 2020, and I have loved it ever since. The car is still doing great by the way. Just ask the bank. LOL!

Folk metal in general can be really fucking dope. Each culture goes and puts their own vibe to it so you can listen to it from all sorts of places but it's got a very different sound to it.
I've been listening to world music for years and years, along with regular rock, metal, etc, and I can't tell you how happy these mashups and genre fusions make me.

Papa Roach was formed 30 years ago and Jacoby is pretty much just as energetic as he has ever been and seem to still have just as much fun today as he did back then.

I took a DNA test awhile back to find out my lineage. Much to my pleasant surprise, I found out I'm 40% Mongolian. It leaves me a trail of unanswered questions as I was told my lineage was completely different. With that being said, I'm embracing that lineage and came across these guys. I absolutely love them

There is a multitude of positive vibes here that run the gamut. I just love the message and feel and freshness of what's being created by them!!

This is a sound making by vocal cords only (laryngeal cords), traditional Mongolian folk culture. Very unique.

it's called throat singing.. every sound a human makes while singing/talking is by vocal cords unless one is whispering...
The Hu is phenomenal. I just can't like this, it's like having a soup without flavor. So much harder stand alone.

I am an old woman, a Great Grandmother even, and I have seen some awesome things in my life! I was young through the greatest music ear there ever was, but I have a great love of all music when it is warranted. I first heard The Hu a few months ago and loved their music!! Unfortunately for you, Papa Roach has been one of the biggest, most successful, most loved rock bands out there over the last 10 years.
New music every year and a half or so, including #1’s on the rock charts & streaming platforms, plus packed show after show on relentless touring & festival schedules.
Most people who don’t like or know them usually end up leaving their live shows as fans.
There’s a reason everyone wants to tour with them and do collabs with them…their audience isn’t just people who were teens or older in the late 90’s early 2000’s. It’s full of young, new generation rock fans too.
Hate ‘em all you want, but this new music of theirs about to drop (2 songs already pre-released) looks to be pretty damn good once again.

*Transcriber's note: The original Mongolian text is in Cyrillic. For those of you who know Russian, Mongolian Cyrillic has a few differences in pronunciation. The Mongolian _в_ sounds much more like the English _w,_ and uses many more "short" vowels than Russian does. The consonants are significantly softer, as well. Any vowel I wrote with an umlaut over it (what some call "röck döts") indicates a short vowel. For example, _ü_ sounds like the English _u_ in the word "up," whereas the _u_ transcribed without the umlaut sounds like the _u_ in "flute". Same goes for the rest of the letters.
While I transcribed _я_ as _ya,_ which is how it's usually transcribed from Russian Cyrillic into Latinized Russian, it sounds more like _ee_ or _yee_ than _ya._ Hence why "nürgëye" and "dar"ya" rhyme in Mongolian. Also, _kh_ (_х_ in Cyrillic) is pronounced like a very phlegmy _h._ It sounds more like a _k_ than an _h,_ really.

At least they get some more fame because of jacoby (even tho their original wolf song has made 32 million views within one year without any hype from outside of "the hu" at all)

I have seen them live. I do not understand a single word they say but gad I had goosebumps the whole time. I do not like watching concerts because crowded places make me anxious. I went to watch them and one of the best things I have seen and heard in my life. They are so amazing and powerful live! I will watch them again kf they come back to Dublin.
