My folks had a historic home on Marietta's west side {'66-'82}, right on the river near the old train bridge. I come down every year for the blues festival {March 18th). Hi Rocks, love seeing the cool antiques. I would of bought that mini Coke bottle too. I love it. Thanks for taking us along. P.S. That W.C Fields statue, that particular one, might be a rare one. Could go for over 200.00 dollars or so. Just saying. Joyce ❤️🇺🇸🙏
The videos are great! I like the digging and arrowhead hunting videos but I like these antique store videos just as much. I’m into the stoneware stuff. I like old jugs and crocks. It would cool to see some old moonshine whiskey jugs. Keep up the great videos
Yea....I am into this stuff man. I have been for a long long time. Finding a bottle like that Marietta bottle for that price is almost as cool as digging it. I know I could make a 20.00 profit on that bottle. I even got it cheaper than what it was marked...i think it was 20% off. So $8.00. Prices on a lot of the stuff has hit a low....and it is because of covid. Everything has been hit hard. Now is the time to do some dealing on antiques....this is when I try to buy crocks. All I can when people are broke

I cant believe how cheap those bottles were. Even that Marietta Ohio soda bottle I showed I should have purchased. Cleaned up with real nice photos....that is a 30.00+ bottle
The guy with the hat is Fatty Arbuckle. Chris Farley was supposed to play him in the movie but of course he died. Your visits to the antique stores are always enjoyable.
Nice video Rocks! I dug a mini 2.5" glass light colored aqua coke this fall at my neighbors dump, single family dump from a farm house built in 1901, dumped until the 70s. I did a bit of research and the glass company mark with the "O" and diamond stood for Owen's Illinois glass, which that mark is prior to 1954. Then it has a 7 on one side which is the plant number and a single 9 on the other side which without the "." by 9 puts it at 1939. At 1st l thought it was from 1979 but after my research and knowing they didn't dump after 1970, and the depth l found it, l was able to figure it out. Pretty cool huh, l love learning everything l possibly can from things l dig or atleast things that interests me.
That is awesome! I used to stay in Canton and North Canton clear up into my late teens...my grandparents lived there. I used to go to this mall called Sherbrook Circle every weekend and play in the arcade all day long.
