@@daironification it’s a psychology class and she’s doing that to teach a point relating to the topic they were learning. She’s not crazy. She’s actually being practical, and teaching the kids the topic of the lesson through example, which is intelligent. She’s teaching that by screaming and acting crazy like that, a person will only remember the screaming and craziness, not what was actually said (per someone who did more research on it). It’s not cool to assume. We all do it from time to time, but try to listen when people who have done the research tell you what’s really happening.
SO this is actually a psychology professor doing this as part of the learning experience BRILLIANT WOMAN!! its got to do with what they are learning about and they dont realise it yet! BRILLIANT!!!
This is kinda healing for me because I had a mom who was abusive and would 100% genuinely yell like this, and she’s acting out my former reality like it’s so ridiculous and such an overreaction and making it all a joke. It feels less scary that way.
Thats the entire point of why she does this. Shes a psycology professor and she does this to show how freaking the fuck out will make someone remember the screaming but not the actual message. But I hope you feel better
@SomePeach Hey love. I’m so, so sorry to hear that. I’m just going off what you’ve said here, but yes, what you’re describing sounds like verbal abuse, and the trauma it can leave on a person, child or not, is just as serious as physical abuse. Your feelings are 100% valid and I’m sorry if you’ve been made to feel otherwise. My mother also called me “sensitive” and “dramatic” after berating me; it’s a tactic that abusive people commonly use. They don’t want you to realize that you’re being treated unfairly, so they make you feel like /you’re/ in the wrong for wanting basic respect. I’d say part of this might be your dad’s military training, sure, because the military itself is an abusive environment, and sometimes people inflict the same abuse they went through. But the thing is, he’s an adult, and you were literally 5-10 years old when it started. That’s not even old enough to have a fully-formed personality yet, and as an adult and a parent he almost definitely knows better than to do that to his own child. As a side-note, did he himself say that the reason he does this is because of his military background? Because my mother also justified her abusive tendencies as “just the way she was” or rooted in her culture or upbringing, and that’s also one of the ways they dodge accountability-by using their personal experiences as a means to justify it, rather than explain and apologize, even if they can see the damage it’s doing. This might be a bit random, and I’m sorry if it is, but I just know how awful it is to be verbally abused and I really don’t want you to be alone with this, especially since you’re a kid. I’m going to leave my Discord tag here just in case you ever need someone to talk to, whether it’s just to vent or to ask questions or what have you. You only deserve good things, and I hope things get better. 𝐋𝔦𝔩𝔩𝔦𝔯𝐲𝔱𝔥#2763
@somepeach make sure you actually have an abusive father because its very important not to believe your father is abusive even though he actually isnt. ppl in the comment section will agree hes abusive and you will believe it deteriorating your relationship with him. if hes not actually abusive, this may ruin your relationship with him forever and the ppl in the comment section will not be held accountable. only you

Btw she’s not angry, she’s teaching that u shouldn’t treat kids in school like this. Everybody in the class knows that it’s a joke:)
Innit I watched another and it missed that at the end where she says see how much worse that is
I WANNA LIKE THIS SO BAD BUT ITS AT 777

Brilliant but poor woman too, because that couldn’t have been good for her throat. Can you imagine?
If my teachers were this enthusiastic I probably would’ve payed more attention in school
