Also you could do lorian minus the teleporting and have someone dressed as Prince lothric doing healing miracles on Lorain and the occasional soul spear or homing soulmass. or go in the woods and do a Crystal sage thing with obscuring ring or something
I honestly love the Abyss Watchers boss fight mainly because it's like Maria from Bloodborne and the song playing in the background for the Abyss Watchers makes it a lot more awesome
Try deacons of the deep. Be a slow archdeacon with ton of hp and smash people in face with staff while 3 other deacons poke enemy with candlesticks. Be sure to cast deep souls into the sky when enemy retreats.
I was summoned into a fight club using a Darkwraith cosplay & there happened to be an Artorias cosplayer also there. We disrupted the fight club to fight each other lol

Seriously what did cross their head to make every single boss weapon unbuffable. Abyss tainted, faith, sorcery, and self buffing weapons I understand. But this weapon that has nothing to it makes no sense to not be able to buffed.
Ganking like this, I'm completely okay with. Same with basically any other gank boss, like Oreo and Smores. It's the Havelyn, Estoc, Dark Sword, Chaos Blade Avelyn spammers that get on my nerves.
Also a lot of people just name their characters "Guts", try to cosplay for a little while, get bored and play normally. But the fucking name, man, it's still there.

why don't you use tears of denial to do the second phase?
Because theres nothing I can do to indicate its the second phase. Can't even buff the weapon.
And get rid of the epic spinning/flipping around? I'd say the AW's moveset is more important than the flaming sword.
Why not use a pyromancy aoe and emote again then estus up. I feel like that'd be a good enough indicator.
If you ever planned to do this again you could try doing the roll buff,let's you buff weapons that normally can't be buffed.
