Seeing her performance when she opened a tour last year May and comparing it to now, the improvement is astounding really. She's taking lessons and improving every day, bettering herself even with an injury. I think her team is really the best thing ever out there and has done what a lot have failed to do. She's creating an image for herself and filling in a gap that has been open for very long time. It's always Pop, Hip-hop, Afrobeats, R&B and other genres but Tyla somehow mixes all of these pulling different elements from each piece which is why it's so hard to define or at least categorize her. @@EljohnMacaranas the thing is
Tyla has with TD which has sold 500,000 units
Jumb and arts
This comment is just bs
someone who doesn't know tyla
And keeps tracts of her achievements so they should stfu
Americans that were trying to cancel her are getting chest pains.
I saw that and went… over that??
The gag is I really think tyla might snatch a Grammy for this album and all hell is gonna break loose
It’d be wild to see her take Best Pop Vocal and throw the AOTY prediction games off the whole night tbh
@@EljohnMacaranas I really think with all shaming that has been thrown her way this year I think may do it on purpose because it’s a good piece of work and to piss them off more just to be Petty
@@EljohnMacaranas she definitely taking one home in African category with Tems that’s lockedddddd
This, I feel like the grammys do this stuff to piss off the other african artists
Wasn’t she nominated for R&B also she says she’s bringing amapiano to the list, how’s her music now pop
Take that up with the recording academy who put her under pop for this year’s nominations apparently!
Not gonna happen she dont even have the voice for high jotes song. And that push to song aint going nowhere. Her stardom is fading water has moved to nr 2 in billboard charts
Can you please do a video on JADE from little mix the group is on hiatus the women are putting out their solo debut albums soon Jade has potential to be a pop main girl and a pop main stay and i want you to do a video on her soon on debut album and her potential as a main pop girlie
When the album drops!
@@EljohnMacaranas Jade said her album comes in 2025 but no official release date as of yet but she has 3 songs out you can review in the meantime and keep up with Jade she also had her first live performance this past weekend to if you want to get a glimpse into her and her artistry you can get a idea of what artist she’s trying to be and this is Jade firs solo so she still experimenting and finding her sound but so far she doing good with keeping us in engaged feeding us with music dropping snippets and given us a promo single in between her new follow up single fantasy so yea definitely check her out
Something broke inside me when you mentioned people comparing her to Rihanna…Don’t get me wrong, it just sounds so ignorant and it’s like this reasoning only refers to their skin colour and interest in fashion…? Girl, Barbados is not even in Africa, so their background is completely different
I think people so badly want another Rihanna but it does no justice to both Rih and Tyla who clearly wants to be her own artist and has a different sound entirely
@@EljohnMacaranas So childish 😀 the whole point of being a great artist is to be unique and one of a kind. Netflix literally implemented this approach ‘people liked it, so let’s do this 10000 more times’ and it ended up being a shit giant.
@@TheMulti12345 Welp, people comparing Rihanna bd Beyoncé for being the only Black women with substantial success in the music industry for the past few decades. Barbados has nothing to do with Texas.
@@BroJo676 Bro…like what? Having a taste only in pop music doesn’t magically change the fact there are many artist with even a bigger influence on music, just simply not in a present decade. For example Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin…?
@@TheMulti12345 it’s not just cause of skin color and fashion tho. Tyla herself said she wanted to be the next Rihanna so ofc people r gonna compare them
She's a 1 hit wonder
I’ll give her another album cycle before saying that, I do think it’s sus that Epic/Fax cannot seem to get another single trending
😍🇿🇦
🔥🔥🔥
Can you do a Becky g video ?❤
One of these days
So shes gonna be what normani should have been be?? 😭😭😭
Normani was let down by RCA and a team that really was too scared to “fail” that it became prophecy
@@EljohnMacaranas I think normani very lazy
@@EljohnMacaranas Stop it, this girl don't want it drop the excuse
No. I don’t see it for her 😕
😭😭😭
It's mid af lol. Every song sounds the same. There's a way to make cohesive albums while having each song feel different this ain't it. It's funny how harsh people were towards 143 and then they go and give mid albums like this so much praise
Telling on yourself with that 143 part… 😬
@@EljohnMacaranas LMFAO
@@uzairhassan5998 Boo, Katy could have left on a high - 143 was unnecessary😂
At least Tyla is using sounds that previously were localised (amapiano, Kwaito etc) so there’s value there
Katy on the other hand, is recycling production from the noughties 😂
thought u were being serious then saw u mentioned 143 and realised it was a joke
I'm sorry. Water was cute. Album is quite boring!! Charli XCX, Sabrina more
Pop
And album did well!🤷🏽♀️

Most if not all artists can be called plants these days… the term has lost its meaning
