- Weird Abandoned Housing Development in Florida - Someone lost some money, weird. Looks like the spent a lot of money and then got repossessed by a bank or something, odd.

this reminds me of the defunct Florida Lehigh Acres housing development, which was doomed from the very start back in the 1960s, even my late parents had owned a parcel of Lehigh and ended up selling it for next to nothing years later...

According to google it was recently up for sale (not sold) plans were for it to be a resort. They’ve definitely build on the property since your video. 🙂

sad ton of places like this in Florida. But this place wont be abandoned for long there's not a plot of land that a developer wont build on down here

Evidently the developer has been in Puerto Rico working on places impacted by the hurricane and will be back to finish this soon

No, I can't remember but it is outside or Orlando by the Omni Golf Resort, you go past the Golf Resort and go through some neighborhoods and then it turns into a dirt road and you come to this

Hey went over there and spoke with the neighbor turns out the developer didn't go under he is just working on places in Puerto Rico hit by the storm and has some permit issues with the county but will be back to finish the project soon.
