@@pmin5554 it’s like a sticky gas that soaks your clothes and skin with a burnin sensation so the clothes he hung up actually do help but most wear it as a mask so you can breathe 30 seconds longer after the cell is gassed.

It's never quiet in prison it doesn't matter what time of day or night. I literally fought people the next morning for being so loud at night.
Ive never seen an extraction team enter a cell, and then proceed to LEAVE the cell WITHOUT the inmate in restraints.. smh

Having been part of and supervised many cell extractions I must say that many things weren’t accomplished properly. They are lucky no one was seriously hurt.

Why on Earth don’t they just use a tranquilizer dart, similar to what they use in a zoo when a lion jumps his enclosure? It’d be quicker, cheaper, less painful for all involved (especially the inmate), quieter, less chance of getting officers hurt, on & on. Watching this was a massive screw up from start to finish.

The guards couldn't care about him doing this, and whilst he can convince himself that he's actually achieved something, its that mentality that got him locked up in the first place.
You don’t understand prison mentality. That is his world on a day by day basis. He probably has a lot of time to do and doesn’t care. The prison system in the United States offers no real incentives or privileges for behaving. He has no reason to not buck the guards.

Cell extraction must be pretty scary from the inmates point of view because you know the guards are gonna beat on you and probably leave you in a cage lumped up and burning for hours until they finally let you wash up. I'm thankful I've never been in that situation. Especially in a federal penitentiary.

I guess because im very interested in ww2. Particularly the atrocities the Nazis committed. All i can think of when i hear the choking and struggling to breath. The nonstop coughing. Sounds like they are in the last moments of life. What comes to my mind is the gas chambers. All the innocent victims packed in the chamber. Naked, terrified, crying. When the pellets were dropped. And it the poisonous gas took effect. The sounds that came out that building..😢

Also this looks like a SHU or AdSeg of some type. Anyone that has been here for long periods knows that Inmates and CO's all know one another. Its basically the same rotation, inmates dont move much. Neither do the CO's..

I’ve worked in maximum security for 12 years from officer to shift commander and I’m not gonna spray that much gas into a cell it’s a waste and it just makes all the other inmates mad having to breath the stuff so it’s earth cuff up or we will make u cuff up which ever ya wanna do but we ain’t gonna empty a can of gas for no reason

Since there is no commentary or details in this one. My guess is that the SORT team inserted some type of gas that had minor effect.
Perhaps a different type of gas. Laughing gas or THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) aka cannabis smoke.

That was a sorry cell extraction and I’ve been in a few. There are always 4 members with a gurney and supervisors on site. You have a shield man who pins the inmate. Then you have a baton man. Third is a man who would handcuff the inmate and last would be a man with leg restraints. Inmate ALWAYS is in both restraints when removed. Once the cell door opens the job is done. I’d also like to know what prison this is? 👈
