I appreciate your videos Eric, your videos help me make my decision on moving to Tampa, a year ago from Ohio. I'm glad that I made the decision to move to Tampa, I love it! I agree that the wages are low and housing is expensive. I also agree with Eric that working from home, moving from a higher paying state to Florida is a great decision. I live in Brandon/Riverview. The weather I considered alot before moving to Tampa. I went through my 1st hurricane season in Tampa and it was not bad. I've been very blessed while in Tampa, so again I'm glad I made the decision to move here. If you are a go getter and ambitious you can make it in Tampa, if not you will struggle.

Just started studying for cdl license class A. I've checked that out and heard about the low paying jobs. Hopefully, getting a cdl license and having a truck driving job, it should be able to cover the living costs of Florida.
Unless things changed down there don't count on it. I used to drive CDL down there and I was making 16 dollars a hour. So much to deal with down there driving. Not worth it to me. Driving a truck down there is very dangerous. So many accidents.
I would say the high rents and the unfriendly and unwelcoming people are my biggest concerns about moving to Tampa. My brother lives near the Davis islands. Says people are very snobby. Also heard there is a lot of bullying in Tampa bay. That would be a concern for my mental health.
I have only been on Davis Island a few times.

I wonder if homes 20 to 40 minutes away from the water will be affected by home insurance increases?
Definitely! The whole state is affected, I think homes with a newer roof are not affected as bad
As I chimed in b4, Florida was my #1 destination pre-pandemic home prices were oh so nice with covered pool lanai.but post,those home prices went thru the roof.welcome to georgia 😁.
I’m from KS and I can handle severe weather . I was even in my 1st hurricane in Harvey (Houston) humidity and bugs. I just want to be near the ocean and nothing stopping me anymore 😂
Being in Florida for years now… all of these things are true. They were true when I first got here & it’s getting worse 😢Nice weather & lots of things to do but definitely don’t come to Florida without a plan & $$$ 🙃
Hi Eric thanks to your videos and my desire to always live somewhere tropical, I have moved to Florida. The mortgage rates and my new mortgage is double what I paid in NJ but loving every minute living here. Thanks for the informative videos.
