- Speaking at the Scottish Conservative Party conference in Glasgow, Douglas Ross tore into the SNP's record in government.
At the event at the city’s SEC, Mr Ross started by congratulating the members present for seeing through SNP secrecy.
He enjoyed pointing out that Nicola Sturgeon's political legacy was in tatters and mocked Humza Yousaf being First Minister and calling himself 'The First Activist'.

Douglas Ross is not always the most charismatic pf politicians, but this is a good speech... even if the SNP has provided SO MUCH material in the last 6 months that this stuff must write itself.
His comment about nobody trusting the SNP ever with any sort of financial plan for an independent Scotland made me realize something: the SNP have not been peddling the rosy utopia of independence just because it was easy to sell to voters, but because that's the only thing they are able to sell: they are utterly unable to manage anything, even their own party.

Because of Tory incompetence in negotiating with NHS workers according to the NHS national medical director Sir Steven Powis over a 5 month period 500,000 Peoples appointment and procedures have been cancelled because of strike action adding to the already enormous backlogs in England.
The NHS Strike action is continuing in England.
In Scotland The First Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf negotiate a pay settlement with NHS workers and there are no NHS strikes.
English Teacher's and railway workers are also continuing their strike action because of Tory incompetence while in Scotland after negotiations with the Scottish government they have settled their pay dispute.

As I said, Sturgeon caused so much division during her time as FM. Every comparison to make her look better at the job was between her and anything ‘English’ or ‘The Tories’.
How many times did she hit Ross with sarcastic personal remarks, instead of just answering the question he asked her at FMQs ?
She was a bitter control freak, and lied many times about facts and figures that she claimed were better than Englands. It was childish and pathetic.
A lot of posts on these forums from SNP supporters are full of inaccurate facts and figures, again, to try and make the SNP look better than anybody else.
I get great enjoyment in replying with facts or figures taken from the SNPs own web sites which prove them wrong.

I wish I had a pound for everytime I get called a Tory or a Unionist, just because I make a negative comment about the SNP. People seem to forget that more Scots voted NO in 2014 than yes.

Angus Robertson was at it not long ago, telling lies about Scotlands wind energy capacity compared to the EU.
Sturgeon kept claiming Scotlands NHS was performing better than ‘Englands’ - it wasn’t.
And if you care to look up the hospitals used in the SNPs comparisons, you will see her claims were false.
I could go on giving more examples which are backed by stats from the SNPs web sites.
The SNP have brought all their issues on themselves, and it’s those issues I get great satisfaction in highlighting.
If people on here cannot hack that, then tough.
Somtimes the truth hurts so bad, and I’m happy to provide that truth to shoot down posters telling lies to make the SNP look good.
If you went to your bank and they said they couldn’t find your money. Then asked you to make a donation to get the banks funds up, would you give then more money ?

A nasty cabal have undermined the good will that existed in the run up yo the 2014 referendum (although the nastiness was becoming apparent on socisl media). Scotland is a divided nasty country now replete with anti- English racism (it always had pockets of viciousness but these have been put on steroids) despite there being a majority if good people in it. Time to bury nationalism.
