    could you update your CoQ 10 recommendations? I realized this video is 3 years old and was just curious how you felt about newer product versions like Inky List or the ordinary or any others. Being a senior on a budget 50+ for 1 product is not in my life anytime soon. Thanks so much.

      Look up Timeless' CoEnzyme Q10 serum on youtube. They're transparent about the percentages used in their product, they also have a vitamin C serum that uses L-Ascorbic acid (the form of vitamin C with the most evidence based claims for skin brightening). These are great anti aging products.

    • @mile_851
      @mile_851 Рік тому +1

      The inkey list cost usd$9/oz while the Timeless q10 serums costs usd$15/oz. But the Inkey List has q10 under 1% while Timeless at 2%.
      Just because the price is low doesn't mean it's as worth it as other options. But if you want to lower the amount of products you might need (it would cost more, but) I would recommend you the "q10 booster serum" from IndeedLabs at Ulta for usd$25 for 1oz (it has vitamin c Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate. The most stable vitamin c derivate that tends to cost AT LEAST $50/oz but usually around $90/oz). Right now is on sale for $12 btw

    I have acne scarring on my nose , the sides...so embarrassing and so self conscious . I still break out being 45, i know its hormonal so i am internally taking care of that and trying not to pick. Feel like its nvr ending and i know i need tio be more diligent with less alcohol and more alkaline water , i do eat all organic almost vegan, but its the scarring that really brings me down. You are so sweet and full of light , want to say thank you for you being you and brightening my day :)

    So to conclude, a skincare (cream, serum, oil...) with antioxidants is still great for the skin. CoQ10 is one of them. I've heard about Q10 creams and all their anti-aging properties, but I didn't know how it would work.
    For those who are not vegan, there is a lot of CoQ10 in fishes and meats : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coenzyme_Q10
    I really appreciated your series of videos about how you've cured your acne. Your videos are still helpful for me. Now I use an oil as a moiturizer and I have banished alcohol in my skincare products. Since, my skin have balanced itself : my T-zone is less greasy and I've experienced no more dryness on the other parts. Listening to my skin's needs was the key. Thank you !

    How do you feel about Cetaphil for cystic acne, very sensitive/combination skin? I want to switch to a cleanser that does not have harsh chemicals in it but I don't know where to start. I'm hesitant to try this one since it's more of a cream and I've read that that can clog pores

    • @nessssaa11

      Alyssa Allen you should definitely get the app "think dirty." It tells you on a scale how dirty a product is and what ingredients in it are bad for you and why, as well as providing you a cleaner option and where to buy. You could also look up non comodegenic oils (won't clog pores/create acne) and as for a new cleanser I'd recommend African black soap. Check out the brands Shea Moisture, SW Basics (very simple, clean ingredients), Badgers Balm, Acure, Nubian Heritage. For me when I had really bad acne and some cystic, I used African black soap and afterwards would use tea tree and rose hip oil. Hope this helps!
