I just started getting into wireless headphones, mainly for use at work. I purchased the MPOW M5 Pro Bluetooth Headset (Model BH231A) and they seem to work great so far. I bought them from Amazon on 10/30/2019 and they only cost me $24.99 (USD). I also purchased the ZEXMTE Bluetooth USB Adapter CSR 4.0 (USB Dongle Bluetooth Receiver) from Amazon for $6.99 (USD) due to not being able to connect wirelessly to my work PC without it. I think I may treat myself to the TaoTronics SoundSurge 46 after seeing these reviews. Thank you again for your reviews.
the separate power control for ANC is a FEATURE, not a bug
it means you can use these for ANC without music or other sound, say for going to sleep in a room with a loud air conditioner
I love these headphones, I love that the ear muffs come off, the amount of headphones that have died in one ear that i couldnt even try to DIY fix due to the muff being glued on is awful. I personally like the bulky design, but thats just me. I know another commenter said that the ANC being separate power is a feature, but personally I find that I forget about it being on, and try to use it very situationally, such as when my friends are blasting music on their speakers and I just want to vibe to my shit. Lastly, I find that they've been the most durable headphones I've had. These boys have lasted me the better part of 3 years and counting, whereas my other headphones (usually JBL) only last a year max before they die, and I am a little rough with my headphones so this is a HUGE plus, not to mention the price point makes it affordable but still quality enough to run with my audiophile friends.
Basically, in my opinion these are the perfect headphones for someone who likes a bit more bass, likes the bulky look, and needs something cheap and durable. These are overall my favorite pair, and I'd highly recommend to anyone who's on the fence about getting them
I really would like a pair of Sony or Bose headphones and they may be my next pair. However, the SoundSurge 46’s have been excellent for me. Nice review.

It makes you wonder what these kinds of companies could do if they went for a $120 price point. BT5 would be there but perhaps a more consistent sound (keeps those highs) and a touch better ANC. Also, I wish more companies did what Beats has done at times - amplified headphones with batteries.

yea, there are pretty much difference, usb type c charging, bluetooth 5.0 connection, and 10 bucks more expensive

The bulkyness is intentional. Closedback headphones dont have the luxuries openbacks do for creating soundstage. Earpad and driver housing thickness is really the only tool they have, so it's harder to have truly great closedback sound and also be slim.

Just wondering if you have tested a budget brand model EDIFIER W860NB and how does that compared with this SoundSurge 46 (TT-BH046). Actually I have short listed the following 3 with prices, so which one will you pick considering overall scores and especially sound quality: Here is my list: 1: Edifier W860NB = $120, 2: TT-BH046 = $98 and 3: Sennheiser HD450BT = $169 (currently on special, normal price is $219). Prices are in AUD Australian dollars.
I ordered them for 112$ including shipping to Costa Rica through Amazon global, I'll get them during the first week of February, and i hope they do sound great, not just bassy, i have an LG G7, so i have the Quad DAC to help out when connected through cable.

I purchased these headphones two weeks ago and have not received any notifications or support. After digging into the TaoTronics website, support email, and Facebook page, I'm starting to think that it's a scam company. Help?
I have the SoundSurge 46 and they are really awesome. Believe this or not, but I also have the Sennheiser PXC 550's and the Taotronics SOUND BETTER, especially bass. Unbelievable but true! ANC is also really good, especially low noises. Will recommend them any day. If you have a big head these may feel too tight as they really hug the head. The soft earcups are the best I have ever had, and I have owned more than 15 pairs of headphones.
I have these headphones. The anc is a beast! But you can tell that it is a budget headphone due to audio. It does not do well in mids. Highs are okay but not good. Bass is powerful but not punchy. But overall these are worth it. Better check the mpow h12 it's nearly half the price and they said that the audio quality is good

No problem! I'm creating a video about the 5 best budget ANC headphones and even after testing like 10 different pairs, I STILL love these the most. The sound quality is just so damn good and the ANC is one of the best out there. I hope you like them as much as I do!

How do they compare to the Soundcore anker life q30 or the Skullcandy wireless?
These are great if you run them through an app that has a preamp. Other than that they are too quiet, or not loud enough, for anything other than music. Oh, and this blow away the 55's.
Can you tell which, if any of these, would fit a ten year olds head better? He has asked for headphones for Christmas, and I’m pretty sure he isn’t going to be happy with a kiddie set:)) So,,,, I am hoping to find some not too heavy or huge for his head. He is a little small for his age, I think:)
Get the Bluedio TM if you want a lighter headphone.
the minimum they should charge for this marvel should be around 150$, luckily for me, already put some 1500+ hours on mine at 80$!!. ROI, checked. Till the wheels fall off! P.S. there are some "high end" brands using the same chassis asking for 355$, haha (worth it, though)

Okay so i see that the sony XM3s are the superior pair and have better sound quality and NC but which of the two has greater bass? Please respond i don't know which one to get. Also i see that the padding on the taotronics outdo the sony, does this make them more comfortable than the XM3s?

Will these headphones do an alright job cancelling noise traveling through walls to another room? Someone listening music or watching TV in the room next to or below me? Seems to me like it's usually those lower frequencies that are making it through. I live with a lot of people and have a hard time focusing on my work, and negotiating time frames for noise making activities...

Haven't tried the Edifer personally, but the MPOW H12 is the strongest over the Quiet Plus.
They recently updated the headphones for 2020 with bluetooth 5.0 and they cost 30 pounds on amazon

The 46's SHOULD be better because they have hybrid ANC, and the 60's have regular ANC. But TaoTronics will hopefully be sending me the 60's to review soon so there will be a full video on the them in future. Cheers for watching!

Bought this headphones and i can say, in reality, they are not that big. Smaller than Hesh2 from SkullCandy. And they are comfy as fuck.
can someone that own these for a little while, say a year or 2 talk about the battery life ? i feel like many of these headphones will be prefect for most of us interms of sound quality and battery length for the beginning, but goes to shit in just a few months ..... ive had expereince with a KLIP headphone., can anyone confirm how good is the battery life in the mid to long term ?

Dont buy it. I have a horrible experience with this headphone. I mean don't get me wrong it was good when I first bought it aside from the noise cancellation makes your ear ring or have that suffocating feeling. After a while though that's when you would see some problems with this speaker. like the earpads wouldn't hold anymore it would break on the outline of the earpads first and will slowly creeps until the earpads is not intact anymore, the battery does not hold the charged anymore and the sound would have a crackling sound. I can't issue refund anymore because the seller is not available anymore. I only had the headphones for a span of 7 months mind you.

ANC is very similar - sound quality is slightly better on the E10s, but less bass-boosted. Hope that helps buddy.

I do not know. I bougth these and must say I will send it back. ANC ok for the price, but sound is not clear, too much bass and missing clear highs. My standard default earbuds for old huawei p9 sounds better. I will try and compare with

I went for the TT S46 instead of the Mixcder E10 after watching your review a few times due to cost different and also another review here: ua-cam.com/video/NFPFUUvZvPc/v-deo.html. I do like the good bass and compare to my Sony 1000MX2, it is not too far off with the price different. Keep up the work....And thanks for your great review. Look forward to more review...

I am not really sure how much money do you get to make this "Review" but today I got these and: 1) ANC is giving me a strange nausea effect (worst than planes) 2) The sound is worst than JBL Tune 500BT which are selling for 40 euro these days on Amazon, 3) They are superbulky.
They las two month. Waste of money
Had a pair looking like these and less than 4 months. They look sturdy but made with cheap plastic. Wouldn't mind spending more for quality
