We use Freedom Mortgage, what a coincidence. Paint and lighting can be so impactful! Those two things can totally change a room. Declutter!!! Yes, this is the journey I'm on now in my home. I do the same when I sell items. I use that money to update other things in my home. Great tip! I used luxury vinyl in my foyer and I LOVE it but I would love to upgrade it in a few years. Don't remind me of unfinished projects, Yami!!! I have a list of those that I need to complete. Great tips.

Yami…all these tips are great reminders! I love all of them, but the best is to complete your little unfinished projects. My hubby always leaves something undone in each project. 🤣 So I am slowly going back to complete each project so I can check them off my list of “to do’s!” Thanks for sharing your tips!

Watched you since your utube on painting cabinets. Sorry to say I haven’t started but did buy the paint and all the tools. My paint could be old by now? Hope not. I’m in a condo and don’t have as many doors as u and I’m replacing my floors cause of a flood, insurance paying. Thinking I should just take um down and painting um in the living rm cause I can get this floor dirty with dust sanding and paint! This utube is giving me the push! Thanks.
If you haven’t opened your paint it should be fine, but I would suggest taking it back to the store and have them reshake it for you to make sure it incorporates evenly. 😊

I think I would have led with Declutter. I liked my home so much better decluttered and cleaned top to bottom-walls, ceilings, windows, floors, light fixtures, everything thoroughly cleaned. Good luck with selling your home!

One more thing...it is totally worth consulting with your realtor before tackling projects. We thought we needed to redo a bathroom to sell our house, as well as remove old wallpaper and paint. Our realtor advised us what to tackle and what to leave and she was so right. Putting time and money into the bathroom and hall would not have impacted our selling price by much and the time it would take for us to do it would slow down getting our house on the market. The new owners were so glad because she wanted to redo the bath to her specs and it came out beautifully.

Yes the one in the master bath! Girl I love it! My hubby and I bought our first home almost 2 years ago I found the mirrors I wanted and didn't get them in time so now I gotta find new ones and I love that mirror it did a great job

You should be able to see anything I list if you're local to my area. I don't usually ship anything just cause that's an extra hassle I just can't manage. I should have a lot more items listed in the next few weeks though.
I spray painted my kitchen knobs - used primer then 2 coats and within a year, it's all wearing off. For the work involved, I'd rather just buy new ones.

I will never have carpet in my home again! Best to rid homes of these nasty dirt baggers.
We haven't had any issues with our carpet and I enjoy keeping them clean myself.
@@TheLatinaNextDoor dirt gets trapped under the matting and it may appear clean on the surface, it is still under it. I have had way less allergy problems getting rid of carpet and having ceramic/porcelain tile.
Great information for sellers. My daughter is a realtor and the things she has came across is awful.
I hear this as well. We have always sold our houses in better condition than when we buy them but I know we are the excerption and not the rule.
