I watched the series back when it first came on. I remember they showed a working farm that was centuries old and you could still go and volunteer at it. I'm sure it was on one of the Nova Scotia series and I thought it was around Lunenberg. I'll be darned if I can find the location or information about it after re watching everything LoL I'm from Alberta so would like to go visit this place.
Hey there, I believe the knowledge network has many of the episodes on their site although if you are interested in buying a season or the box set I can put you in touch with the production company. I don't know how much it costs but I remember thinking that it was quite reasonable! Thanks for the interest!
Michael Darby Thanks, I will try to get it from knowledge network. Otherwise will be moving to canada in sometime. So,hope would get there easily. may be cbc!
Dear Canada over the Edge. Check the cemeteries, early 1700's people from Scotland, etc. already settled in N.B. and N.S. Try cemeteries like , Otis, N.B. anywhere really, check the dates, and delete the innuendo's and errors in your docymentaries
Damn it. Almost every episode is Eastern Canada...Eastern Canada is nice but WTF??? I saw one episode on BC..I'm honestly sick of watching Nova Scotia and New Brunswick reruns. I want to see one over Ontario aswell! Why do they only do Eastern Canada?(Other than the single random episode for BC) Are they moving to a new province for each season?
Wonderful shots Michael! This is truly one of Canada's most magnificent piece of geography...both physical and human!
I'm proud to call her home!
Scenic indeed!
Amazing video.
I just saw one series of that film in a Hungarian television.

Is there a way to get the soundtrack?

How about ontario?
Season 3 was shot from Vancouver to St. Johns NB. Ontario played a large part of that series. It will probably start airing late 2014.
