Reminds me of the old song "whole lot of shakin going on". Great job on the piece 👌.
I caught the play on words. The bowl is lovely
The amount of warp after drying is amazing!
Very beautiful nice work
never had a panic attack watching one of these before
Gorgeous bowl!
Very good work
I be the women liked the last photo of the bowl .
Totally love this bowl! It looks incredible. Thanks!
Nice bowl 🍲
thank you)))
Oh god I cried when you pulled off that beautiful bark.
Whenever I see the person in the video wearing a track suit, I know it’s going to be a good one!
Quá tuyệt vời 👏 tặng bạn 1 live 👍
Krásná práce Alexi,radost se dívat.Děkuji.
Excellent and beautiful colours thank you ✊✊✊✊✊
Absolutely beautiful awesome colors and grain
Beautiful grain and design
You may already know this, or there may be some other reason you can't/don't do it, but I figured I'd throw it out there just in case. I have essentially the same lathe, and you can remove the extra bar and put the tool rest in the same hole that the bar goes in (the extra bar is usually just for outboard turning). I can see it vibrate in the video, you'd have a much stiffer/stronger support if the tool rest went directly into the banjo.
Cool👍👍👍
Absolutely beautiful. Very good work!
The moment you pulled the bark off it, it became a completely different bowl! Great work!
Have you ever made a fruit basket from a chunk of wood like that? I collected a few of them, they are beautiful. Try it.
👍
Very nice... too bad it cracked... although I don't understand the shape, or why you didn't fix the crack... but still a good video... 👍
Beautiful 😘
Beautiful piece. Fantastic video!
Beautifully done again Alex great work
Bravo.
Why didn't you dry it before turning it? It's beautiful. I love it.
Such a great job ! You turn the wood into the stone, into a marble ! I didn't think to subscribe or not👍! Good luck ! It will be interesting to see your other works!
Alex it is just awesome and stunningly beautiful.
thank you!)
Belo trabalho
That tool rest seems like a real pain in the ass, lol Beautiful work tho!
Awesome
Geez, lock that tool rest down!
I feel really relax when i watch yr videos.. if i were to start.. how long will it take me to make perfect sculpture? Small request.. can u make basic explanation on tools needed for this? Anyway.. thanks for great videos.. 👍🏻

Very nice bowl 👍
really interesting thing) amazing work
For the love of all things holy take the fan cover off the motor and fix the dent so the fan stops scrubbing.
Lovely wood shame it cracked. I guess that's because you dried it out so quickly
How long was each microwave session, and at what strength please??
I liked the idea of an internal mortise.
Haven't seen that before.😊
Beautiful work. Please excuse this elementary question , why do you need to rid the wood of moisture? Blessings
Hey. so that the finished product does not deform when it dries.
Awesome. Thank you so much.. I love to watch your creativity. Many blessings on you
Hola ALEX .
Hey. Thank you so much. machine holzstar db 900
Nice bowl...
Thanks for sharing....🙏
Felicitaciones, buen trabajo. Que producto le aplica como acabado?
Thanks.
teak oil and beeswax
That’s beautiful Alex
How long did you leave it in the plastic bag between heatings in the microwave?
Until the workpiece is completely cooled
Thanks a bunch!
How often do you have to sharpen those tools?
as needed. it all depends on the wood that I process. On average, every 15 minutes of operation, the tool needs to be slightly sharpened.
U need to lock down your tool rest, if its faulty u need to fix it!... very unsafe,
Exactly how i would have done it ......
What power level and for how long did you microwave it?
600 watts / 5minutes
How long each time did you microwave it ? looks great though
600 watts / 5 minutes
Forgive me for asking but why did you remove so much of the moisture?
I love your workmanship the only thing I wish I couldn't see the fact that you're wearing your ring that is extremely dangerous and that sets a bad example for other people but that's an extremely awesome Bowl I'm extremely awesome work
Why no tail stock support
Love to watch but painfull to do.
Rachou a borda .
Could you also have made two or three cups out of this (the same burl)?
of course, but I no longer have walnut logs. In the next video I’ll make something from a maple burl.
@@alexyevmen The pattern in this wood was really beautiful. But I feel like it wouldve been nicer if you maybe made two cups or mugs out of it instead of what you chose... But idk im just a noob
Personally I would not have posted this unless I was trying to show how things go sideways sometimes.
Ben C. Enlots including the toolrest..?
Ben, is that why you haven't uploaded a single woodturning video?
@@-Breakyr Nope, I have not posted any because I have yet to start turning. I wasn't being malicious in any way, merely critiquing. I have watched many of these from many creators and, as a content creator of other things, offered my opinion.
Why does it bother you?
Despesas comentário
That's a rather unconventional gouge; did you make it yourself?
You sure went through a lot of trouble to end up with a cracked fucked up bowl

Too much vibration in the beginning. Lock the tool rest. Most importantly, if you have a bandsaw, cut off excess, (out of balance) wood. Saves you time, and makes for a safer project experience. From a life time woodworker.
FAIL
