he is one of the best characters on stranger things. his character development was so great. i hope we get to see more of him in different projects after the show ends

It’s crazy bc Steve was only supposed to last one season. he was going to be killed off but the duffers loved Joe so much to the point where they decided on keeping him. I’m glad they did bc I can’t imagine stranger things without Steve.

@@tomlawal7991 Yes, it’s really safe to say after Stranger Things is finished Joe Keery will potentially be offered leading man opportunities or at least strong supporting roles in big films. He projects that kind of cinematic vibe for sure
@@tomlawal7991 yeah it does, he is also a musician and that takes a whole load of time. It might be possible that Joe just does not want to be famous on that level and turns down roles too.
Maybe he's choosing his projects wisely. Also think he's structuring his career where he doesn't rush projects, so that each time he appears its a big surprise maybe - quite strategic.
Me throughout the seasons of stranger things:
Season 1: bro Steve just go away dude
Season 2: Him and Dustin are kinda wholesome ngl

Literally me. Although actually slightly different, he became my favorite character in Season 2. But that was even more so solidified in Season 3.

The turning point for Steve was really meeting Dustin. It was the first time he was forced to be in a situation where he has to speak to someone without the social pressure he usually has and it was the first time on the show we see him have to care about something that wasn't Nancy.
Honestly we all think that Steve was the typical mean jock but he’s actually pretty awesome because he basically became a mom in the series lol I hope he doesn’t die

I am glad they paired Steve with Dustin instead of maybe killing him off or something, because it really keeps the comedic value to a show that is quite thrilling and mysterious. Steve's character progression is one of my faves!
Such a wonderful actor and a great person, I don't think anyone could have played steve better
Its crazy how they didn't waste all of these side characters, i mean just think about it, steve, murray, robin, these are the characters that "shouldn't" last for more than 1 season but somehow they develope these characters to not just bring them to the next season but also made them so important and somehow they became the key characters of the series, its crazy how they can do that imo
Steve has truly become the heart of the show and Joe just has insane chemistry with everyone he works with.

Props to Joe Keery. I feel Steve´s probably been the only character to remain consistently engaging throughout the show´s four seasons. Not only this, but seemingly getting better with each one.
it's so cool how much joe keery influenced the characterization and development of steve harrington. in another actor's hands steve could have easily been played as the conventional 1980s high school bully, a one-dimensional, unlikable, boring character that's just not as fun to watch. but played by keery, steve is flawed yet charming whose character arc is far more satisfying. one of the best parts of stranger things are the unlikely but meaningful friendships steve has made. i'm so excited for season 4!

I really like Joe Keery. He's a great actor, he brought a great energy to his character, which made Steve Harrington one of the best characters on the show.

I remember my girlfriend telling me Steve was a fan favourite character when I was watching season 1 for the first time. And I was really trying to see what would make people like him so much. I didn't think he was terrible, but he definitely wasn't that likeable in season 1. Then season 2 happens, and now he is definitely the most fun character in the show for me.
I will be so effing angry if they kill off Steve this season. He's the best part of the whole show, which is saying something about the awesome character development they've given him considering I hated him in the beginning of S1.
Frr. I mean they killed off Max's brother in Season 3 and I almost bawled my eyes out even though he kind of was a douche to Max.

Best character on Stranger Things. He's had the best character developement out of all the characters on the show and when Steve, Dustin and Robin are together on screen, it's always gold.

Steve is literally the only reason me and my boyfriend got through the whole series until now, his character is just so relatable, funny and charming.
His chemistry with all of the other characters is awesome too. Season 4 is seriously the best season yet, and Steve is no exception in it.

Robin coming out is BY FAR my favorite scene of season 3! Their friendship already developed during the season but in this scene they really bonded. ❤ Ngl I secretly wished that these two would end up together but we love a power friendship couple!
Steve is one of the few characters I really connect to, I'm in the same stages of life right now that he's in, I'm graduating high school trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, so I really connect with this character, I hope they don't kill him

Dustin and Steve are definitely one of the highlights of this show, and Steve's arc just makes you like him even more than if he was always the nice guy

I am so glad that Steve got his redemption in season 1 because Joe is just a fantastic actor who's brought things to the show that no one else could. I've posted elsewhere that he and Gaten MUST make a Laurel & Hardy remake or something crazy like that - their comedic chemistry is rare.
Joe is so cool. They could t keep him as the bad guy bc he’s a lovable dude. He would have done fine as the bad guy but we wouldn’t get to see all of the depth and warmth Joe has naturally

I just finished the series within one week & I can’t imagine what this journey has felt like since 2016. Steve became my favorite character of the entire series & if we lose my Steve - I’d be so crushed. But again. I literally can’t imagine what it’s been like for everyone who’s been a fan this whole time while I’ve only fallen in love with the characters within a week!

For some reason, I love stancy because whenever Steve is romantic or kind or you know what to Nancy, I always feel like they were born for each other. I love their connections🥺

I love the scene where he fights the Demigorgon the first time, & he spins the bat before he whacks it. It's like all of the Alpha male in Steve, that's totally lacking in Jonathan, is present in that one move. His innate, reflexive protectiveness is there, too. He doesn't even know what kind of danger he is about to face, but when the time comes, he steps up. Of course, if it's a fight with a human, he's probably gonna get his a $ $ handed to him, but he doesn't back down.
I didn't like Steve when he was with Nancy then I didn't like Jonathan with Nancy. They're good without Nancy tbh , they are better with individual stories. But I really wanna see Nancy x Robin

Putting Steve & Dustin together was brilliant! The chemistry between the two is unmistakable and it gave us the start of one of the best character arcs of the series: Steve's!
I love the character development of Steve, the Duffer Brothers executed it perfectly. Joe is a great & charismatic actor.
Steve was one of the most beautiful and well written character that shows its growth through out the seasons of stranger things.
Season 1 ~ He was a bully that actually truly love nancy and kind person that willing to own up his mistake.
Season 2 ~ He became the brother that would look out for others. His kindness was shown through his open minder opinion of willing to be there for them. Loyalty and responsibility as a older kid.
Season 3 ~ He was very under used, but was still there to be a guardian and watchful protected over the group. He was shown more understanding than any other character and you can always rely on him to have your back.
Season 4 ~ He grew up into a adult and became the selfless hero who was at his lowest in season 3 that lost the girl, his fame in school when billy was better than him. He became the men that we watch in season 4, a person that inspire eddie to be better and move the heart of the viewers to root for him.
Joe Keery played his role beautifully and truly one of the best character this season has to offer. Steve is the true chad of stranger things ^_^

that scene with robin is hands down one of the best scene in the whole series for me. it’s very simple with small dialogues yet it holds many emotions in such short time, you can tell by their changing expressions. both joe and maya are perfect fit for their own character
