I expect more manufacturers to offer shaft options in the future like Odyssey. Being a lefty I dont get many options which is probably a good thing. Currently game a Seemore with centre shaft.
I would say that it was highly likely that your grandfather had talent. Sadly that was a different queue to the one that I stood in when those things were being handed out.
VERY true. Some of what I'm currently trying to learn now is by virtue of similar club parts. Once I zero in on the manufacturer and model - then which shaft performs "notably" better than the rest FOR ME - then which grip is most comfortable TO ME?
I used to putt with a miniature-golf putter. What I discovered is that knowing how to read the line in golf matters more than an expensive putter. When a putt misses its target, it's the fault of the person holding the club not the club.
Lol, that's why Callaway Triple Track and Odyssey 7-style putters are so popular. I've heard that right eye dominant golfers do better with mallets better of the visual alignment bias. Very interesting.
LOL... Yeah, right. Although a growing trend from fellow weekend warriors is to ignore the ball going into the hole altogether. Just mark down a 2-putt - no matter WHAT the ball does.. and move on.
Would be more interested in the differences from all the different hosel types available on putters. Next video perhaps?!?!?

Didn’t realise there are left handed shafts. Is that similar to the left handed hammer?🤔
Single bend and double bend shafts etc are opposite. Only straight shafts are obviously the same....
The most important club in the bag - and the most neglected!
Really interesting subject, but the noise of the music off putting. A bit too loud.
My grandfather did great with a warped hickory shaft

Add a better grip and it can help as well
I have a Scotty Cameron putter therefore I am an amazing putter
Rather a pointless test if you claim that the variable in your analysis is the shaft, but you have three different heads, however similar they may be

Upgraded the shaft during my PXG putter fitting - you can really feel the difference.
From what to what? Also, what was the difference in feeling?
@@jeffphakenewz8556 From steel to carbon. Softer feedback, feels more precise at impact with less twist in the head for off center hits.

I think putter shafts do make a big difference
Most people just need to learn how to aim. You're just rolling a ball into a hole.
and most pga players aim left and push the shot
