I like this radical a lot. The scope worked well. I reviewed this one a while back and it's a good one.
@@cw2a cool, thanks
Burris fullfield E1 is a good budget minded sleeper
@@ThomasStanek-l4f I’ve almost bought one a few times. I have an old Fullfield (the original)
Vx3 30mm tube 3.5-10x40mm. Lightweight, durable, very efficient.
@@ThomasStanek-l4f very nice
@@ThomasStanek-l4f I agree I have been swapping "up" optics for better and for 30mm tubes.
It sure helps as well as keeping the overall weight of the rifle as light as possible
Have a 4-16x44 Riton X1. Originally put it on a 308 I was using as a range gun shooting out to 300 yards but I wasn't happy with the clarity. Moved it to a 223 plinking rifle and I have been happy with it on the 100 yard range but I wouldn't buy another one. Been trying several different brands over the past couple years trying to upgrade magnification and I've found Zero Tech and Meopta to be the two brands I'll buy going forward.
I’ve got 4 Meoptas, I love them. I haven’t seen any thing new from them recently though.
I have a fair amount of experience mounting optics at work. We don't sell CV life but when handling customer supplied scope, CV life has been very problematic. Riton is somewhat local to me but have been evasive when I've attempted to contact them. Their QC is a mixed bag. Arken is pretty good but not at all what UA-camrs have made it out to be. Every other channel reviews Arken as some miracle that delivers the quality of more expensive brands. What are does is of FEATURES of more expensive brands.
Hands down. If you're on a budget.....Burris. The Droptine and Fullfield scooes come in under $200. I get free optics from major brands and I still buy those Burris scopes.
@@desertrat79 I like Burris scopes. I have an original Fullfield.
Consider low light conditions testing. That's what most hunters asked me about when I sold scopes. For the weight, the Leupold VX3 with a 1 inch tube is still a favorite of mine. 50mm bell is all anyone needs.
@@tacticalmattfoley good scope for sure
Another good video thank you. I've had the same experience with those riton scopes.
@@sugargoldy I appreciate it!
I’ve gotten 2 Arken scopes this year. sH4 and a EP5. Both are really nice. I’ve junked my Vortex for the Arkens.
@@ronbeckybeasley3566 do you use more for hunting or target shooting?
Great review, I hope you can get a better image through the scope like the C_dose channel does because it really helps the viewer to determine the performance of the scopes. Thank you!
I hope so too
Two things in my opinion. The Riton has a short tube and doesn't offer much eye relief adjustment with standard rings. I think you need a Pic rail to make it work. Second, is the ocular might interfere with some bolt throws on some rifles, just a hunch. The throw lever might also be in the way. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure someone likes them.
@@warrenpolidori5541 I appreciate the perspective
Thank you for reviewing
Appreciate the variety of content
My pleasure!
Good choice mate, actually didn’t mind the view of the bear scope, cheers Yogi ✌️🇦🇺
@@rosalindstewart7013 yeah, I was pleasantly surprised
I've got two primals and they're just like you said but they hold their zero and weren't good. I also have two right on conquers 3 x 15 x 44 they are great!
Interesting, thanks
I have a Trijicon Huron 2.5-10 x 42 on my 7mm-08 Ruger American Predator. It's my personal favorite out of the 4 scopes i now own. If you can get your hands on one for a review I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
@@RedOctober5 cool, I’ll look into that
Burris ful field 4 good option great price
@@jameswilson5562 agreed
Didnt really like the one we got. Side focus/parallax never got crisp for me. Doing the test at 100 yrds it wasnt clear and hard to find the spot to get reticle crisp and not move when moving your eye. There are better scopes for the same money. I dont think they make the 1 primals anymore
@@orr89rocz I appreciate the comment
Hey I bought a new Arken 7 months ago it’s a SH-4 Gen ll 4-16x50 mm FFP I put it on my Riffle tried it out it’s to heavy for what I like to do plus I have the mounts put it on took out shot few rounds through it took it off put it back in the box. Would you like to do a little trading
@@charlesburdette7497 I appreciate it, but I agree, the SH4 is too heavy. That’s why I bought the Epl4. It’s a little lighter. I don’t need another target scope at this time. Thanks though.
Savage rifles suck. Should have got you a Ruger American
@@ronbeckybeasley3566 I disagree I like Savage rifles.
