After testing out almost every commercially available Jet Ski tie down strap in existence I finally have found a set that are MADE TO LAST! These Suncor Stainless straps are full 304 Stainless- meaning every single pin, spring, and component are made of stainless steel. There is nothing like this for sale on Amazon or even West Marine- these are a very heavy-duty commercial quality product.
Don't fall for the retracting straps- they are a gimmick and fail in just a few hours of use in saltwater because they are not FULL STAINLESS! These simple ratchets ARE full stainless- meaning they will not dissolve before your eyes!

I don’t ride salt water but I have a similar set with S hooks. Def worth it as they don’t rust out. I will have to get these clip version. The current ones I have I use on my hitch hauler for my superjet and they rock 4 seasons no rust.

Have you tried transom tie downs? I find them easier and more reliable than ratchet straps.
Everything I have tried, nothing has stainless steel hooks, canms, or clasps. The single tiedown that uses the ski pylon does not work on the 310 because of the ultra deck or the straps chaffe the sides of the ski- I guess you could use some kind of foam padding over the strap to prevent that, but I prefer just to use the tiedown points on the transom.
I know it’s a little early to ask but will be making another Christmas wishlist video this year featuring products like this?

Be great if they would have used 316 instead of 304 , but the price would be little higher. Lol. But those spring ratchet straps. 🤦♂️ SUCK! lol I’ve bought a few pair that were on the higher end. And stainless models and every single pair failed in days if not weeks.
I would have loved some 316 as well, but I was lucky to even find these! You’ll find some that have stainless S hooks, but then the ratchet is not stainless or vice versa. These are the only ones I have ever seen that are complete stainless so I’ll take it! And yes, I actually did a sponsored feature on the automatic, retracting straps, and thought they were great, but then after just a few weeks, the mechanisms failed. As you said, the stainless ones are not stainless only a small portion of them are.
@@JDsWaterWorld it’s a dam shame that in 2024 making a self winding ratchet strap is so hard. Lol
What was the size you recommended as tie downs? Ski should be back on Monday at the latest so I'm going back and checking everything I need to get ready for this summer.🎉
