nice clip, that shows how to correct paint a prop. On little remark on your airbrush handling: I see that you always trigger air and paint at the same time which is a typical Rookie mistake. If you have a double action brush, you shall NEVER swicht paint and air at the same time. First air, then paint on - spray - paint off - air off! Or you shall leave the air in a constant flow and only trigger the needle lever foreward and aft when you want to spray. -->This will end up in a much better paint distribution and no drops will cumulate at the needle tip and nozzle.
Sorry for the late reply. I think the silver tips were used by US Army Airforce P40Bs in Hawai. 2mm tape is really good for 1/72 scale and 1/48, I think it depends more on the actual size of your model rather than the scale.
doing it the same for years, works a treat!!, but I find holding the tape (when you cut a small bit) with some thin ended tweezers rather then my fat fingers makes it easier ...
Great video my friend excellent how to video stay safe 👍🙏
Thanks mate. I appreciate it.

Ive only ever seen props all black with yellow tips. Who had silver on front and black on rear?
Also which scales is 2mm tape good for?

Each to their own :) Appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
I like such a movie without cutting. Then I see that I'm not the only one who gets mad at modeling
