im a noob but i dont see a difference between them. Sort of seems to me that model companies want to get us on the hook for stuff we dont need just to make a buck and keep us coming back for more. This is a great idea for the trim if you're building a Show model.. And your definitely looks great. But I don't have a ton of tape or a Air Brush.. So I just use a Black Sharpie and it comes out pretty good.

I saw this video half speed to build my own I16 and the building is amazing but playing this in half speed makes the comentator look like hes stoned or sleepy hahahaha to funny

i see comments about why waste time with hidden parts,besides showing technique, sometimes flashing also happens in them spots making part not sit right,i'll be nice and not mention a specific brand lol,but one i'm struggling with at the moment

I have to be honest here - with almost sixty years of model building under my belt, that masking tape is some of the crappiest tape I've ever used. Use tape from the automotive paint jobber shop, if you want quality tape.

Omg takes so long and you end up using a lot of tape and new blades and also scratches the plastic.
